Designer (Print & Digital) – Temporary to Permanent

Job role
The position is responsible for the design and generation of marketing communications material, including printed and digital media, exhibition stand graphics, technical support material for internal and external customers, product photography, media library housekeeping and the maintenance of the company website(s).

Duties:
*Maintenance of company website.
*Creation of advertising artwork for both print and digital media.
*Creation, production and maintenance of sales brochures, product data sheets, sales/training presentations material.
*Creation and production of co-branded literature and other marketing materials for customer network.
*Liaising with print suppliers, ordering and managing print projects from start to finish
*Creation, production and maintenance of technical documents such as installation instructions and manuals.
*Creation and maintenance of product image library, utilising digital photography and 3D modelling.
*Other graphic design work as and when required.
*Providing support for exhibitions, customer events etc.

Person Specification
*GCSE in English and Mathematics
*Degree in Graphic Design or similar
*Graphic design within a B2B (business to business) environment
*Having worked for a manufacturer would be beneficial
*Computer Literate with knowledge of Windows operating system, Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Powerpoint.
*SAP Business 1, experience with a website CMS and 3D Modelling (KeyShot or similar) would be advantageous
*Photography skills would be useful
*Motion and video experience would be beneficial but not essential

Please not this type of design is quite corporate. While we need someone with a creative flair, we need someone who has worked with more conservative brands and companies and should be demonstrated in your portfolio.

This is a temporary to permanent position as and additional resource to the business. They are unsure of the exact end date (if there is one) but they are looking for people who can start ASAP.
