We are currently working with a market leading manufacturer and fitter of specialist HGV and plant vehicles. Established for over 30 years, our client has sites across the UK and due to growth, are currently recruiting Welders/Fabricators for their New Addington site.

Responsibilities will include:
*Sheet metal work and fabrication in various metals.
*MIG and TIG welding.
*Working to deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
*MIG and TIG welding experience to a high standard.
*Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Our client offers an hourly rate of £11.16 plus a performance related bonus of up to £10,000 per annum, alongside benefits including 20 days annual leave and pension with double company contribution.

Welder/Fabricator

We are currently working with a market leading designer, manufacturer and fabricator of a variety of mild and stainless steel products for projects across the South East.

Due to levels of work, they are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their business on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent.

Responsibilities will include:
*Sheet metal work and fabrication in various metals.
*MIG and TIG welding.
*Working to deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
*MIG and TIG welding experience to a high standard.
*Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm and an hourly rate of between £12-£14 depending on experience.

Service Engineer/Mechanical Fitter (Gas Safe)

Our client provide facilities management services to commercial clients.

They require a Service Engineer to visit client/customer on various site locations to perform maintenance, reactive calls and repairs on heating/hot water systems, boosted water systems, ventilation systems and all associated plant.

Key responsibilities:

* The Service Engineer must repair and service all the machinery and equipment present on the customer site or unit;
* Work in teams as and when required so the work can be conducted within the specified timeline;
* Make detailed reports on all the work that is done;
* Ensure that any parts that need replacing are available;
* Also,must conduct safety checks on all the machines/equipment or it could prove to be dangerous for the other workers working on them;
* They must keep an inventory of equipment required for the repair work;
* Know about all the latest machinery, equipment & tools etc that are available on the market;
* Must inspect all the machines/equipment and make reports for the management that whether new equipment/machines are required;
* Be well versed with the user manual of large commercial plant machinery
* To promote and adhere to KM Services policies and procedures e.g. HR; Health & Safety;

Education/Qualifications/Experience:

Must have a good level of education and vocational training certificate e.g. City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or NVQ certifications in several areas, and/or equivalent/relevant experience. These could include Building, Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Plumbing.

Experience gained by learning on the job. Possess at least secondary school education with good level of English (verbal and written communication skills).Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.

Must have a clean driving licence

Engineering Manager

Our client is an established company specialising in the manufacture of mechanical products and associated electronic display systems.

Due to increased growth they are now at a stage where they need assistance to reach the next level of their objectives.

The engineering work they produce covers mechanical engineering, embedded electronics,
mechatronics and PC Windows developed software. The mechanical design is handled in-house
whereas the electronics and PC software is primarily out-sourced. Their products are technically quite complex, often including bespoke features which could be mechanical, electronic or in a software form.

They require an experienced candidate to head up a new dedicated Engineering Department.
The expectation is that the engineering department will be a key driver to help the company make significant progress and continue growth by streamlining, improving and maintaining current systems and processes.

The Engineering Manager will quickly develop a dedicated team which in turn will take responsibility for the following:

* Quality management/processes
* Managing non-conformance
* Act as the gateway between Sales and Production
* All Research & Development
* All version control of existing products
* Maintaining all BOM’s
* Establishing cost
* Defining all products
* Technical drawings
* Product testing
* Training for Production
* Product certification
* Documentation

Role

The Engineering manager will be responsible for building and managing a team of staff assisting with
the day to day duties of the Engineering Department.

The Engineering Manager will require the following key qualities:

* An engineering background in a manufacturing environment is essential
* Experienced Manager capable of maintaining a highly motivated, disciplined and focussed
department
* Strong communication skills
* Capable of developing and working within company systems
* Capable of managing projects of varying complexity
* Experience in developing a “Quality” environment and associated company systems
* Strong character
* Motivated to achieve excellence in a team environment
* Ideally with an automotive, medical or similar background
