Materials Planner – FMCG

We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Maidstone.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Materials & Resource Planner to join their team.

The Materials & Resource Planner will be responsible for:

Delivery of morning and afternoon MRP sessions to assist short-term commercial planning.
Delivery of ad-hoc MRP sessions to enable medium and long-term planning.
Communication of MRP results within the business and 3rd parties.
Updating stock and order information as required.
Maintenance and administration of the planning files.

The ideal person will be able to demonstrate:

Experience working in a similar role, ideally within an FMCG environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good administration skills.
Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 6.30am – 3.30pm, working one weekend in every four (with 2 days off in lieu the following week)

Responsibilities will include:

Administration of QMS documentation
Auditing of production processes and documentation and monitoring of GMP & hygiene standards
Support the investigation into customer complaints
Support both internal and external audit programme and conduct audits
Assist in risk management processes
New supplier evaluation/qualification
Initiate action to prevent non-conformity
Drive full compliance to Food Safety, Legal and Quality Systems

QC/Lab Analyst – Part Time

We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Paddock Wood.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a QC/Lab Analyst to join their established team on a part-time basis.

The QC/Lab Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing product quality and adherence to ISO accreditations and the internal Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities will include:

Analysis of samples using analytical chemistry test methodologies
Investigation of non-conforming samples, data evaluation and reporting
Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures for use of laboratory equipment procedures and investigation protocols
Testing raw materials and finished goods as part of Goods In/Out product release
Trending of results and statistical analysis of incoming goods
Update maintenance log for cleaning and servicing of equipment
Update company technical documentation including QC SOP’s and records
Maintain own training record for laboratory, regulatory compliance and Health & Safety
Check and report stock levels
Maintain all QC laboratory equipment as per maintenance schedule

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful background within a lab based QC role. Knowledge of the food/FMCG sector would be advantageous along with knowledge of HACCP, BRC and SOP’s.

Hours will be 25 per week, worked across Monday to Friday.

Supply Chain Coordinator – FMCG

We are currently working with a leading National FMCG business based near Maidstone.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their established team.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for:

Monitoring post-delivery and any issues arising from completed Customer orders
Liaising with all areas of the business
Liaising and building relationships with external parties including hauliers and
other suppliers
Collating data related to Customer orders
Supporting Trading Managers and Procurement
Collation and management of forecasts
Allocate and Process relevant customer orders throughout the day
Distribute and communicate haulage detail and amendments
Maintain relevant customer programmes and order requirements
Post-delivery administration

The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of Industry Systems including Import Duty, Quotas, Intrastat and
CFSP etc advantageous but not essential
Previous administration & sales office experience required, ideally from an FMCG or fresh produce background
Positive, outgoing & friendly personality
Good mind for mathematical problems & logical thinking
Methodical approach
Ability to work systematically with a keen eye for detail
Good computer skills (Microsoft products mainly – Prophet experience an
advantage)
Ability to work alone, using own initiative and as part of a team as required
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, planning time & priorities
Willingness to work unsocial hours & including Weekend’s and Bank Holidays where required

The role operates on a shift pattern, hours will be Monday to Friday split start times on a rota 6.30am to 3.30pm and 8am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday (you will get 2 days back in lieu) 6.30am to 3.30pm. On call rota is also in place 7 days a week up to 9pm.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join their established team.

The Supply Planner will be responsible for the following:

Owning the supply planning process for a category across multiple planning horizons.
Translating the demand plan across all time horizons into an actionable supply plan.
Tracking the performance of suppliers across the agreed supply plan and driving continued accuracy and improvements.
Highlighting risks and opportunities to the Demand Planning Team.
Reporting and monitoring on stock position across UK and Import supply chains.
Monitoring and reporting the integrity of supply information and adjusting forecasts as necessary.
Providing a clear view of what potential shortage and surplus positions there may be.
Managing supply reviews.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience working in a Supply Planning role.
Experience within the FMCG sector is preferable.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal relations skills.
Highly developed influencing and collaboration and facilitation skills.
Excellent analytical skills and confidence to work with numbers.
Knowledge of ERP and forecasting systems.
