Forklift Counterbalance Driver

My client based within distance to the Gravesend area is looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver to join their growing team.

Specialising in the storage and distribution from Worldwide Exporters, Growers and Importers, my client has an expertise in delivering to Wholesale Markets in the UK.

Role requirements for the FLT Counterbalance driver:

A minimum of 3 years consecutive FLT Counterbalance driving experience
To be physically fit
Flexible to work shifts (no night work, however overtime may be required)
Ability to work any 5 days out of the 7
High motivation levels
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Passion and drive
Be happy to complete other tasks or duties in the Warehouse if required e.g. if another member of staff was off sick and you needed to assist with their duties as well as your own.
Be reliable and hard-working at all times

This is a temp-to-perm position paying £8.67 per hour. This is a great opportunity to work within a hard-working, friendly environment, within an established company that will allow you to grow and give you the ability to develop at a fast rate.

Due to the nature of the role, if you are successful for interview you will be required to sit a FLT assessment with my clients Assessor.

Steel Toe Cap boots and a Hi Vis Jacket are mandatory PPE requirements.

Our client specialises in the storage and distribution from Worldwide Exporters, Growers, and Importers with expertise in delivering to Wholesale Market in the UK, and they are looking for a Warehouse/Breakdown Supervisor to join their expanding team.

This role requires you to have knowledge of the FMCG sector, a minimum of at least 3 years in a Supervisory role, previous pack-house experience, and good math skills.

You will be responsible for a team of around 4-9 people. You will be given training on the system my client uses, therefore, you will need to ensure you are someone who is a fast-pace learner and can use those skills taught straight away. You will need to be organised, have knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and ability to work to tight deadlines

You must be willing to learn all areas of the business, essentially covering other staff member roles if required. You must be reliable, hard-working and most of all flexible.

Overtime can occur in this role so you must be happy to potentially start earlier or work later in order to complete the tasks required.

This role will be Sunday-Thursday 12pm – 9pm. The client has expressed that they will try to give alternate weeks if possible, and this can be discussed further at interview.

The salary for this role is £26,000 per annum, with the benefits of 28 days holiday.

There could be the chance for progression with this client if work performance is proven.

Mechanical Engineer – FMCG

Are you mechanical or electrical engineer with experience in the FMCG industry? Have you maintained and repaired flow wrappers and heat sealers?

Our client, a Farm in between Tonbridge and Maidstone, is looking for a Site Engineer with relevant experience to join their maintenance team. The main purpose of this role is to maintain production machinery and carry out general maintenance and repair throughout the farms operation.

Duties include:
– Implement preventative maintenance and regular servicing as required.
– Troubleshoot and provide advice/training to machine operators and new production staff.
– Repair and update machinery
– Ensure all MHE is maintained in line with service requirements
– Supervise contracted staff
– Maintain records and service sheets to maintain legal compliance
– Ensuring health and safety policies and legislation are adhered to

This role would suit someone with experience in FMCG, top fruit, food production or robotics.

The ideal candidate will have:
– Previous proven experience of working with flow wrappers, heat sealers or robotics.
– City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
– Minimum 3 years experience
– Able to work with minimal supervision
– Good communication skills and high standard of spoken english
– IT proficient
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The right candidate will maximise their contribution to the business to deliver unbeatable value to internal and external customers. You will be driving positive change and development through analysing problems correctly.
