Full time preferred, could be flexible to offer part time for the right person.
Salary is dependent on experience
Predominantly home based, but must be flexible to travel to clients as and when required.

The company
Our client is an established consultancy company working in the education finance sector now in their 9th year of trading.

Aside from a general helpdesk on PSF they also have a hosting platform and have designed various software packages that you could be offering support on.

Person Specification
*Prior helpdesk experience – 1st and 2nd line user support
*Knowledge of financial software in an education-based setting would be essential.
*The majority of their clients use PS Financials software, therefore experience of this would be highly desirable.
*IT based degree or equivalent qualification would be preferred but not essential.
*User training experience – individual 1-1 and multi-user as and when required.
*Good communication skills – phone, email, face to face
*Good presentation skills – screen sharing, PPT, face to face etc.

Primarily, the role will take full responsibility for the day- to- day administration and housekeeping of the CRM and MRP databases along with the associated reporting tool kits that the company use, ensuring that the team and management are fully supported by creating, evaluating and optimising data sets into easily readable and usable reports.

The ideal candidate will have the strength of character to be happily instrumental and hands-on in data cleansing as well as having the vision and experience to put processes and data entry rules in place to ensure on-going reporting is as effective and accurate as possible.

Working alongside the external IT support team and Software suppliers the position will be the first point of call internally regarding any issues relating to the software or hardware.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential responsibilities but not limited to:
· Overall responsibility and point of contact for the CRM, MRP and related reporting tool kits
· Full responsibility for the integrity of the data entered into all systems
· Creating new user profiles, part numbers and working alongside the Sales, Product, Purchasing and Finance departments to ensure the relevant data is entered accurately and effectively
· Producing daily/weekly/monthly sales figures and reports for the UK, USA and Europe – including margin reports, quotes/opportunities created, rep performance versus target and category analysis.
· Updating and maintaining the Price Lists in the CRM system as well as merging data with the MRP system to provide the Reps with the relevant information to maximise GP

Required Experience:
· At least 2-3 years previous Sales Operations/Systems Administration experience in ideally in a manufacturing or similar environment
· A good understanding of a database structure and linking interfaces with the relevant IT knowledge to act as a key point of contact between the front-end users and the IT/software support companies
· Trouble-shooting incorrect data entry to ensure reports are as accurate as possible
· Excellent skills in using reporting tool kits
· Excellent at interpreting numerical data and presenting it in user-friendly ways, including dashboards
· Highly proficient in Excel (Advanced User)
· Previous experience in database system installations and upgrades would be very advantageous

IT Helpdesk & Support Specialist

We are currently working with a leading Business Advisory Service based in Kings Hill, Kent.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk & Support Specialist to join their established team.

Responsibilities will include:

Serve as first point of contact for technical support for network users seeking technical assistance through the company’s helpdesk system.
Assist the international IT team in coordinating helpdesk activities to ensure service level targets are met or exceeded including promotion of helpdesk function and software to improve user satisfaction.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions and determine best solutions based on the identified issue and details provided by the users.
Walk users through the problem‐solving process via videoconferencing (Teams), phone calls and/or email including recording events and problems and their resolution in logs of their helpdesk system or direct unresolved issues to the next level of support.
Suggestion of possible improvements on tools and procedures including the creation of reference material, guides, and training presentations.
Training, assistance, and guidance on the use of Microsoft supported tools and applications used within the organisation (Microsoft 365 software, Dynamics 365)
Participate in the development and testing of new tools and software.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an IT helpdesk environment as a technician or another user‐orientated IT support role.
Tech savvy with advanced working knowledge of Office 365 (admin panel, Teams, Dynamics 365, etc.), office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.
Ability to problem solve.
Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external teams and management
