KHR is currently supporting a business with offices based in West Malling that partners with businesses to deliver insight-driven solutions across IT, HR, and Finance.

As IT Compliance and Risk Manager you will be responsible for ensuring policies, processes and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards by performing internal audits. Ensure the business is compliant with industry best practice standards, including but not restricted to ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO9001, Data Security & Protection Toolkit and Cyber Essentials Plus. Communicate, establish and integrate best practices across the business. You will also be responsible for Information Risk Management developing and improving processes following the Management of Risk (MOR) methodology.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

– Detailed understanding of the ITIL Framework and relevant industry standards
– Knowledge and understanding of Management of Risk methodology
– Proficient in the use of Office 365 applications
– Know how to fulfil audit requirements particularly ISO27001, ISO14001 and ISO9001
– Experience of working in a medium-size technical ICT team
– Experience of developing policy and process management standards
– Experience of producing high-quality policy and process documentation
– Experience of leading internal and external audits to obtain certification
– Experience of managing department or business risks
– ITIL Foundation qualification or equivalent experience
– Management of Risk (MOR) Foundation or equivalent experience
– ISO Internal Auditor or equivalent experience
– GDPR Practitioner or equivalent experience

As Quality Manager, you will lead on Quality Management for the services provided by the business ensuring ‘consistent delivery of products and services which are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations. Deliver functional and process analysis, challenge and expert advice to ensure
service delivery is underpinned by robust and effective quality and risk management. Provide assurance that service delivery is compliant with legal requirements, best practice and internal business standards and ensure relevant external certifications are achieved and maintained. Establish, integrate and communicate best practice across the business through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

– Experience of best practice quality, risk, information security, environmental and business continuity management including the design of effective controls
– Experience of leading quality improvement and external certification projects
– Experience of delivering internal audits
– Experience of process review and design, and of reporting functions, including devising regular and other ad hoc reports
– Successful experience of managing change
– Experience of managing others indirectly and leading cross-disciplinary project teams
– Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
– Knowledge of best practice quality, risk, information security, environmental and business continuity management including
relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001/14001/22301/27001/31000)
– Good awareness of information governance, data protection and confidentiality issues

KHR have partnered with an established, growing business that provide software to their clients within the import and export space; who have several opportunities for experienced RPG Analyst Programmers, with a can-do attitude, to join their IT Team.

Main Purpose of the RPG Analyst Programmer

The core business runs on IBM iSeries. The main purpose of the role is to enhance existing systems, bug fixing, and develop new systems in line with business requirements and to agreed timescales. Support Desk work is also required to support the existing client base.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will meet all, or a majority of the the following:

– At least 3 years solid RPG programming experience with RPG400, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL, SQL, FTP and Microsoft Office products
– Experience of IBM operations including any knowledge of SFTP/SSH configuration would be useful
– Experience of transformation of IBM legacy systems to GUI based design would be highly desirable
– Experience of IBM I Modernization products, IBM I Cloud (or other cloud services), Restful API development and connectivity, Postman, Java, Zend server/PHP, Dynamic HTML/HTML5, JSON, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Linux, Bash script, C#, Python, Curl, .NET would be desirable but not essential
– Any experience of the EDIFACT standard and B2B communications would prove beneficial
– Be able to demonstrate experience of the full development life cycle
– Be able to work effectively within a team and where necessary with minimal supervision
– To be able work to under pressure and to tight deadlines is crucial
– The ability to troubleshoot and react quickly to queries, and to present clearly thought out solutions
– A ‘hit the ground running’ mentality is required, in a dynamic environment, and be able to multi-task and prioritise is key
– Be able to communicate with personnel at all levels of business
– Any prior HMRC / Import-Export knowledge would prove useful

The RPG Analyst Programmer will be offered the opportunity to work up to 2 days per week from home upon successful completion of the 3 month probationary period.

The key requirement of the Desktop Support is to assist the on-site and remote users with all hardware and software issues. Providing solutions as promptly as possible.

– Reports to Senior Network Admin
