An international packaging supplier and manufacturer based in the Medway area is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/ Multi-skilled) to join their team.

As the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/ Multi-skilled) your duties will include:
*Fault finding, maintaining, installing and testing PLC and electrical systems
*Fault finding, maintaining, installing and testing a wide range of production
machinery
*Attend breakdowns
*Propose alteration or improvements to all systems and equipment
*Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as required
*Ensure all Electrical installations adhere to the Safe working Procedures
*Ensure Electrical Installations adhere to best practice and legal requirements
*Keep all records of work up to date
*Attend call outs as required by a roster

You ideally will have previous experience in a similar Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/ Multi-skilled) role, and utilise the following skills:
*Working within a high-volume, fast paced manufacturing environment
*Experience in fault finding and maintaining PLC and electrical systems
*Relevant Electrical qualifications

Working hours:
2x 12 hour Day shift
2x 12 hour Night Shift
4x Days off

their day shift team. This will be working across the development, testing
and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume
manufacturing business.

As the Maintenance Engineer, some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* To fault find and maintain plc and electrical systems
* To fault find and maintain complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* To devise, fabricate and assemble new and modified mechanical plant
and equipment
* To undertake timely, planned, preventative maintenance tasks
* Repairs to machinery, ancillary equipment and services
* Following tests and inspections, to complete appropriate documentation /
IT system entries
* To work in a safe and efficient manner
* To maintain good housekeeping throughout the work area
* To undertake and maintain ‘5S’ activities
* To undertake training and development to fill skill voids as appropriate

Ideally, you will have the following experience, but they would be looking to train someone into the role as well:
* Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing plant
* Experienced in fault finding plc control and electrical systems
* Knowledge fault finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Knowledge of 5S

A well established and growing international manufacturing company offering a niche product range is seeking an experienced individual to oversee the Installations for the business.

To fulfil this position the individual must demonstrate excellent skills in managing a despatch and delivery team along with experience at managing a team of on-site installers.

As the Installations Manager your duties will include, but not be limited to:
*Overall costing and analysis of delivery and install.
*Capacity planning – who fits each job etc.
*Legal and contractual side of projects.
*Be a ‘senior solution provider’ and resolve issues with clients/architects etc., on
site.
*Solutions/’go to’ main person in the team
*Able to read and understand plans and can get involved in quoting for projects
*Work with your team members on fitting and installation
*Liaising with customers on schedules
*Getting quotes for fitting
*Liaising with fitting teams
*Doing site surveys
*Test building – new samples
*Working with customers on bespoke orders
*After sales visits

You will ideally have majority of the following experience:
* 2-3 years’ experience of managing a Delivery and Despatch Team
* 2-3 years’ experience managing an installation team – familiar in dealing with
building contractors
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven negotiating skills
* Export/ Freight experience to America would be preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent at multi-tasking in a deadline driven environment
* Proven customer Service skills
* Previous use of MRP/ERP software very useful
* Organised, pro-active and forward-thinking
* Good geographical awareness
* Excellent MS office skills – Proficiency in Excel (essential)
* Commercially minded
