Registered Nurse – Case Manager

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join an excellent social care organisation that pride themselves on providing high-quality, responsive and supportive services to service users and offer a high-quality service to all clients.

Main duty of the role will be to manage the Community Nurses and Care Support Workers and maximise the available resources in a cost-effective and time-effective manner to ensure a safe and effective service delivery.

This is a full-time position but must be accommodating in working unsocial hours to cover staff training and competency sign off which can occur during night shifts within clients homes.

Duties will include:

*Managing the day-to-day operations of office facilities, ensuring administrative tasks are complete Ensuring all staff are trained in accordance with relevant regulations and monitor performance
*Provide clinical leadership to clients and staff on a regular basis by prioritising individual needs and reviews
*Act as a Community Nurse leading a team of Registered Nurses and Care Support Workers
*Provide effective and efficient high quality nursing assessment of clients
*Providing clinical input to clients in various settings through the provision of client visits and supporting staff members

Previous skills and experience required:

*Qualified Registered Nurse with experience in a supervisory or managerial role
*Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
*Proven leadership and managerial skills
*Experience of delivering clinical training to workers
*Familiar with relevant legal and other regulatory and Social Care requirements, in particular, the Health and Social Care 2008 & it’s associated essential standards
*Understanding and experience of rotas including adherence to the Working Time Directive legislation
*Strong computer skills and competency in basic MS Office applications
*Possess excellent communication and organisation skills
*Implement and manage change in the business
*Managing and resolving difficult situations and conflict management
*Working as a team as well as the ability to independently
*Ability to lead and motivate

Care Supervisor

KHR Recruitment is currently looking for a Care Supervisor to join a leading care provider in Tonbridge.

The Care Supervisor will be responsible for making sure care staff are suitably allocated to provide safe and timely care services to customers in the local community.

The responsibilities will include:

*Creating care plans for new customers
*Updating existing care plans
*Reviewing customer needs on a regular basis
*Supervise and advise our Care Assistants out in the field
*Providing training and ongoing support for our Care Assistants
*Attend both staff and customer meetings
*Liaising with Customers, their Family, Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers where applicable
*Taking part in the Emergency On-Call schedule

Skills and experience required:
*Be a confident communicator with a naturally outgoing and positive attitude
*Have previous experience within home care
*Demonstrate a passion for care in the community and a desire to deliver this at its best
*Be professional, hardworking and a team player
*Have a full driving licence
*We provide training on our systems, care planning and supervision of care staff

You will also be required to take part in the out of hours, emergency on-call rota when required.

In return, you will receive a salary of £18-22,000 per annum + and benefits.

Care Worker

KHR is currently recruiting for an experienced Care Worker to join their West Kent-based client to work a minimum of 30 hours a week.

The role will require you to support each customer to remain living in their own homes for as long as they require.

To provide each customer with a high quality of care, that is respectful, dignified and encourages independence whilst adhering to the customer’s care and support plan. Document and report all relevant customer care information.

Duties

To assist customers with all aspects of:
*Personal care, medication, meal preparation, use of aids and personal equipment, support customers with home management, mental and physical activities, customer information, support through temporary and terminal illness

Skills required:
*Ideally work experience in the Care sector
*Must be of caring and empathetic nature
*Good communicator, flexible, self-motivated, organised, ability to work on own but also be a team player, administration and reporting skills
*Must drive and have own transportation
