£24,745 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a charity-run Adult social care service based in Deal, in the Single Point of Access Team.

Key Responsibilities:
.First Point of Contact to the Admin and Hub Team; providing information, advice and guidance to queries or problems.
.Support and manage Admin Support and Hub team members to deliver organisational goals and objectives
.Undertake first line management responsibilities including Reviews and PDR monitoring
.Manage and respond to referrals via the support mailbox
.Escalate issues or concerns to the Service Manager that have been raised that are unable to be resolved at a local level.
.Ensure the Admin and Hub team is resourced sufficiently to cover all tasks, liaising with the Services Manager if any shortfalls.
.Contribute to the business newsletter and promotional materials
.Attend and contribute to meetings with partners
.Ensure all organisational policies and procedures are adhered to, including (but not limited to) Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Equal Opportunities, Data protection, and Health & Safety, including lone working.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a team of individuals in a similar sector. They should have a good knowledge of all general admin, with strong interpersonal skills.

Ideally the role will require you to own your own transport and be able to travel to their office in Deal.

Hybrid Working accommodated, with occasional travel outside of Kent required.

We are recruiting for a Safeguarding Manager to join a leading Healthcare Charity based in Deal.

The Safeguarding Manager is the designated lead for Safeguarding at the charity, responsible for the management and implementation of Safeguarding procedures and systems. As well as the learning and development of the team.

This role is vital to ensuring compliance with policies and best practise centred approach to managing safeguarding at the charity.

Key responsibilities include:
-To be the designated lead for safeguarding, providing a source of support, advice and expertise to the field.
-Ensure the safeguarding processes are implemented and used in accordance to policy and regulations so the service acheive it’s compliance obligations
-Work closely with the management team to ensure safeguarding best practise is adhered to
-lead weekly case review meetings and monthly safeguarding meetings with managers/ team members.
-Analyse themes and trends relating to safeguarding to inform continuous improvement and identify gaps/ issues in service provision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing safeguarding in a similar setting and will possess a safeguarding management qualification.

Service Manager (Healthcare)

Service Manager
Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
Office based in Deal

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the performance management of the service providers and support staff. Reporting into a Senior Service Manager and working as part of the management team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our contractual responsibilities are met and that we deliver best value to funders and outcomes for Carers.

Key Responsibilities include:

-Manage a team of support staff ensuring they are well recruited, managed, motivated and developed
-Support the CEO and Head of Services to implement service delivery strategies and plans
-Ensure financial measures and controls are in place to ensure teams are operating within agreed budgets
-Attend and contribute to staff and management meetings, chairing meetings when requested

Candidate Profile:

– Previous experience in a similar role
– Experience working in Health or Social Care
– Be ILM Level 5 qualified
– Previous experience in a managerial role
– Hold a full UK driving license and own vehicle
– Be highly organised, efficient and approachable
– Strong communicator
– Computer literate
