An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading charity who have been operational and growing over the last 30 years. They are seeking an experienced Fundraising Director to expand their portfolio of donors.
⦁Identify, cultivate, solicit and secure the support of key corporate prospects and develop and generate new business through researching and prospecting new supporters
⦁Support the fundraising team in the delivery and execution of the partnership strategy and plans and objectives of the charity.
⦁Deliver against both annual intellectual property revenue and develop new partner targets and opportunities.
⦁Maintain and develop the existing portfolio of corporate relationships and partnerships
⦁Support and guide the team of fundraisers in creating and delivering the fundraising strategy. Lead new business approach on brand engagement across a targeted and phased priority list of establishments
⦁Act as an ambassador for the charity representing them at external events, including a wide range of networking events.
⦁Seek among local, national and international companies the ones that best suit the objectives
⦁To develop strategic, proactive relationships with potential sponsors and corporate partners, and other supporters of the philanthropic community and high net worth individuals.
⦁Negotiate contract agreements with marketing partners
⦁Keep a constant communication with each marketing partner and/or their agencies and follow up their participation in the charity.
⦁Coordinate the areas involved in the development and executions of the establishments sponsored by marketing partners
⦁Ensure the projects’ execution thorough constant and effective communication between the different areas in the company
⦁Review and present new association proposals to potential partners with the purpose of attaining additional income to the charity sponsors
⦁Forecasting – Accurate forecasting of revenue and sales cycles, ensuring pipeline is updated at all times
⦁Events & networking – attend industry events and networking opportunities regularly and as required.
⦁Communication – ensure clear and accurate channels of communication between all relevant parties including internal and external stakeholders
