The role
The Developer serves as a central person responsible for technology and platforms within the organisation. You will create strategy and guide others in implementing technical solutions for the company. Your propose innovative solutions and drive their implementation and support.

This is a specialised front-end product development role with a deep understanding of modern software architectures and development techniques. A successful candidate will be a committed and articulate individual, required to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to produce software and web solutions that are of enterprise quality. The team is responsible for the development and continuous delivery of a business-critical analytics web application.

Accountability
*The employee does due diligence as far as analysis and design of any projects they undertake. Owns technological solutions to implement designs made for our customers, including:
oWeb hosting.
oTranslation and localisation management
oAutomation of repetitive tasks
oOwns solutions to support business strategy and service delivery, manages workflows and set up for new projects
oSecurity both internal and on customer projects
oAutomation in all areas
oCreates and implements short and long-term strategy in terms of technological growth
*Leads the implementation and support of technological solutions
*Works with other department leaders to deliver services within their function
*Ensures that staff have the necessary software and that it is up to date
*Ensures staff follow processes and proposes process improvements where necessary
*Ensures that the company is compliant with license agreements, GDPR, Compliance, Cyber security
*Ensures the customer data is secure from leak, tampering and accidental deletion
*Proposes, implements and supports new technological solutions that improve business operations
*Ensures the company is ahead of the curve in terms of technology and is seen as a leader by both competitors and customers
*Conducts respectful and friendly communication with customers (internal/external)

Technical skills required
*.NET Framework knowledge essential
*Proficient in C# 5+ years essential
*Entity Framework
*Linq
*Javascript, JQuery, (Angular, React bonus)
*HTML5, CSS, LESS
*GIT (source control)
*Experience working with JSON and XML webservices
*Windows Server, IIS & FTP Experience
*SQL Server Administration
*Elastic Search
*Experience with Azure Advantageous
*Excellent understanding of the technologies, architectures, solutions, designs, implementation and underpinning technical standards
*You will be comfortable working flexibly in an agile oriented development environment, to a high degree of accuracy and within tight deadlines
*You will have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
*Data modelling using appropriate tools
*In depth understanding of writing testable software – unit test, integration tests
*Strong knowledge of developing enterprise web-based applications

Personal profile
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience and preferable in a leadership role
*Preferably hold a relevant Microsoft qualification in programming and development
*A degree or equivalent experience in either data management, information systems or computer science
*Experience in an eCommerce or retail company would be advantageous
*Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness
*Generates innovative ideas and solutions to problems
*Encourages others to look at problems and processes in new ways
*Identifies opportunities to increase efficiency, simplicity, and revenue

Our client based near the Kent coast are seeking a Project Manager with good business analytical skills to join their team. The company are going through an interesting period of change and it is an excellent and exciting time to join their team.

The organisation is delving further into the eCommerce field and expanding its services and solutions. As part of this, they require an experienced Project Manager to oversee a number of these potential new developments.

This is a new role for the company due to growth. We are looking for someone experienced who can take this position and make it their own and add value to the organisation.

This will be working across a range of smaller projects (£100-200K) in different business disciplines (IT, Telephony, Culture, Finance, Business Processes, Marketing etc).

Job role
The Project Managers central role is to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines. This role will be accountable for acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan. This person will have the ability to influence and shape the future environment for the business as the priorities are based on opportunities for growth and also managing any risk. As a Project Manager, you’re responsible for completing the project work in line with the plan and will report progress to Senior Managers.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This person will have strong analytical skills and be able to handle multiple projects at any one time.

Duties
*Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
*Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
*Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
*Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s)
*Follow a standard process, as defined by CAPM or PMI
*Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
*Works closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
*Understands basic revenue models and P/L meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions
*Tracks the financial aspects of the project ensuring projects run to both timeline and cost.
*Submit project status reports to stakeholders, anticipates and reacts to change. Provides written documentation and reports to all people and departments involved in the progress being made against the deadline.
*Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
*Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
*Report and escalate queries to management as needed.
*Successfully manage the relationships both internally and externally. Meets with other departments involved in the progress being made against the deadline.
*Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
*Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers where necessary.

Skills
*Prince2 or Six Sigma essential
*Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
*Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in a variety of sectors – experience in Retail/E-Commerce advantageous
*Experience in end-to-end Project Management. Including identification of projects, scoping and analysis (including commercials, risk and ROI) and complete delivery.
*Good analytical skills (knowledge of an analytical tool would be preferred)
*Excellent Leadership skills
*Experience managing projects across multiple business disciplines
*Experience managing multiple smaller projects (£100-200K).
*Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
*Experience of Agile environment
*Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines.
*Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and lead the stakeholders involved in the project(s)

Due to the pandemic, the team are doing a blend of office and home working. This individual needs to live within a commutable distance to the office for when things return to normal, but they also need to be a self-starter who has experience successfully working remotely.
