We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and confident sales consultant to drive sales for the business. As a sales consultant, you will act as a liaison between the business and the customer in order to establish trust, increase knowledge, and drive more sales for the company.

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for new business development, maximising sales opportunities, and customer service. Particular emphasis will be placed upon developing new business, utilising available intelligence, building relationships, influencing the decision-making process.

Duties
*Generating leads and turning them into opportunities for sales – for both inbound and outbound calls
*Contacting potential customers via telephone, email or social media
*Provide potential prospects and customers with information about the business, services and products
*Contribute to the customer experience by selling the story, inspiration whilst living the brand
*Building up a customer’s profile, collecting data to be used as part of the sales process
*Effectively promote products and help in the customer’s decision process of what brand, service or experience they are looking for
*Demonstrate a consultative and value add logic to optimise sales conversion
*Inputting data into a CRM and managing tools to schedule follow up calls
*Working to KPI’s and revenue targets as set by the Sales Manager
*Identifying opportunities for new business within the market
*Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry
*Building long term relationships with new and existing customers
*Ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed effectively
*Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross-sell

Requirements
*Strong Sales and Customer Service background
*Research experience – ability to find innovative ways to engage with customers to drive sales
*Persistence – ability to remain driven and positive in the face of adversity
*Communication skills
*Problem-solving skills
*Ability to transition between outbound and inbound calls
*Proven ability to drive sales and generate new business
*Relevant industry experience ideally gained from a competitor business
*Confident and experienced negotiator able to drive revenue
*Ambitious and driven personality with a hunger for success
*IT skills essential
*Microsoft Office
*Customer Relationship management software experience
*Working knowledge of online sales/e-commerce processes

We are working with a leading and growing business on the South Kent Coast that is going through an interesting period of change and development in the world of eCommerce.

This role is playing a leading role in the development of the product offering, supplier relationships and increasing the sales and profitability of the business. A key part of the role will be to network and build strong relationships both internally and externally.

Working closely with the commercial and purchasing teams you will be embracing digital tools and new ways of working to increase efficiency within the consumer purchase decision-making process and ultimately generate sustainable and profitable growth.

Duties
*Responsible for category ranging, pricing and promotions across the channels
*Developing strong working relationships with external suppliers, key vendors and internal marketing teams to improve pricing and quality of services
*Negotiating with suppliers to improve trading terms, and secure central income and merchandising support
*Seek out new product opportunities with existing and new suppliers
*Responsibility for the integrity of the product catalogue, new line process and sign offs
*Responsibility for product lifecycle management
*Developing an exit strategy for unsuccessful products
*Work with commercial, finance and operations teams to ensure a common category message and strategy is understood and implemented
*Reviewing and supporting industry and consumer category insights produced by the purchasing team to develop strategy
*Include what motivates the shopper, what trends there are in the category, what competitors are up to, what strategies are the retailers implementing etc.
*Ensure we have the right products in the right place with the right space’
*Creating and developing a strategic long-term plan for the development of the category
*Work with the purchasing team on demand management and seasonality
*Supporting purchasing team with demand planning to ensure the sustainability of inventory
*Managing budget development and revenue for the category

We are working with a leading and growing business on the South Kent Coast who are going through an interesting period of change and developing in the world of eCommerce.

They are looking for an experienced individual to join their established team. The role will be to provide excellent customer service by keeping customers informed, assisting with incoming telephone sales, enquiries and customer queries. You will also be expected to undertake administrative duties associated with the smooth running of the customer services department and provide a professional interface between customer and company.

Duties
*Keep customers informed of delivery dates, delays, or product issues
*Undertake a proactive customer care role, answering telephone calls, responding to electronic correspondence and resolving problems.
*Provide a limited level of technical expertise
*Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure promised delivery date is met
*Ensure customer goods have been received and invoice has been sent
*Review customer’s feedback to the web team providing up-sale opportunities
*Promoting positive culture of understanding and caring for the customer journey
*Complaint handling and problem solving, logging and progressing all delivery queries, liaising with the despatch department to aid the order delivery.
*Escalate potential problems with the customer care supervisor
*Active listening and empathy to customer concerns
*Maintain despatch spreadsheet and assist with daily delivery problems
*Assist with customer returns as required.
*Completing online enquiries, call backs and delivery queries

Experience required
*Prior office/phone-based customer service experience
*Experience with webchat and/or social media customer service would be beneficial
*Strong spelling and grammar to be able to liaise via email with customers
*High level of numeracy
*Good IT skills (Word/Excel etc)
*Experience with a CRM would be beneficial
*Articulate and good communicator
*Very good at prioritising
*Highly organised
