We are currently working with a market leading UK manufacturer of specialist products.
Due to ongoing success, they are currently seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk to join their team based in Sittingbourne and work in a laboratory environment.

Data Entry Clerk responsibilities will include:

*Collecting, unpacking and sorting lab samples from the early morning.
*Logging sample information quickly and efficiently.
*Delivering samples for extra testing to an onsite subcontractor.
*Liaising with customers to answer queries and reporting sample results to customers.
*General laboratory admin tasks including regular reports, minute taking, filing, safety tasks etc.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

* High degree of computer literacy including the use of programmes such as Excel and Word with good spreadsheet and database expertise and fast/touch typing.
*High attention to detail and excellent data entry skills with minimal mistakes.
*Friendly and personable with excellent communication skills to give professional customer service.
*Good technical understanding and practicality.
*Confident, competent and can be trusted to work quickly and efficiently in a team and alone.

This is initially a temporary assignment for a Data Entry Clerk but could potentially turn into a permanent position. Hours will be Tuesday to Saturday 5am to 1.30pm.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manager – Manufacturing

We are currently working with an international manufacturing business with clients based in the UK, Europe, The Middle East, Africa and the Far East.

Due to expansion, they are currently seeking an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manager to be based from their site in Sittingbourne.

The OEM Manager will be responsible for building on existing relationships and generating new business with manufacturers/distributors based in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Far East.

The OEM Manager will have an astute commercial understanding of OEM’s, excellent interpersonal skills and ideally an engineering/technical background. The ideal candidate will be competent and conversant with current software and social media tools, and will need to be a good facilitator and communicator to ensure that the OEM projects are maintained and completed. The role will involve extensive international travel (approximately 60%) to meet with clients and attend Trade Shows.

The ideal candidate will have previous OEM experience, knowledge of equipment manufacturing, experience in international travel and competency in business processes including NPD, Account Management, P&L, Strategy and Local Planning. Multi-lingual speakers would be desirable.

Shovel Operator / Excavators

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic organisation that is seeking to recruit an experienced Shovel Operator / Excavator to join their business based in Sittingbourne. The role will require you to operate Loading Shovels and Fixed Plant to process materials to ensure the reduction of waste to landfill at all times

Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-6pm – you will also be required to work every other Saturday 6am-12pm. Hourly rate £10.38 start

After a successful 6 months’ probation period and further training, you may be entitled to a higher hourly rate pending you pass all training modules.
Duties will include:
*Operate appropriate machinery and plant, as required, to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the site at all times
*Ensuring that plant and machinery is maintained to required standards, including daily & weekly checks, refueling, lubrication and greasing, and that defects and breakdowns are promptly recorded and reported
*Maintain a safe working environment including keeping the working area tidy and access to walkways and emergency exits clear
*Checking of incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site license and permits
*Immediately report: any contamination or non-conforming products delivered to site; accidents, incidents, and near misses; environmental hazards; health & safety breaches
*Ensure appropriate safety equipment and PPE is used at all times
*Undertake any training necessary to perform other tasks including operation of other plant and equipment and/or supervisory duties
*Manual Handling activities
*Assist colleagues upon request and when authorised by your Supervisor
*To carry out other operational duties
*Comply with all Health, Safety, HR and Environmental policies and procedures

Key skills and experience required:

*Previous proven experience in a similar role is essential – shovel/excavation
*Proficient in usage of similar machinery
*Outstanding internal and external communication skills
*Demonstrate a positive & respectful attitude to others
*Strong team player with the ability to cover for colleagues
*Own transportation will be required to get to offices due to the remote location

Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic organisation that is seeking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner to join their business asap.
Working in a fast-paced transport office, the role will require you to be responsible for daily completion of effective, profitable and compliant transport plans for the RoRo fleet of more than 40 vehicles. You will have to evolve the daily planning through root cause analysis and ensuring that the plan reflects the business requirements and customer satisfaction is delivered on a daily basis.
Hours: Mon-Fri 7.30am-5.30pm – you will also be required to work every other Saturday 7am-12pm.

Duties will include:

*Daily planning of the RoRo Fleet, using the companies’ internal System
*Ability to work on own initiative, making sound logical decisions when in absence of Fleet Manager
*Creation and full analysis of Vehicle Performance Reports
*Assisting with the implementation of road transport compliance policies, standards and procedures
*Ensure that all disposal invoices are fully reconciled
*Ensure that the vehicles are available for scheduled services, and compliant
*Communicate with internal stakeholders, external customers, third party vehicle suppliers and external maintenance service providers as required, resolving all customer service queries
*Ensure that all queries are dealt with in a timely manner
*Comply with all Health, Safety, HR, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures
*Reporting any health & safety issues immediately
*Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
*Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including intermediate level Excel with experience of VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables
*Good geographic knowledge of London and the South East and a full understanding of the London Lorry Control rules and regulations

Key skills and experience required:

*Previous proven experience in as Transport Planner ideally with RoRo exposure
*Good geographic knowledge of London and the South East
*Thorough understanding of the London Lorry Control rules and regulations
*Proficient in MS Office packages, particularly Excel with experience of VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
