Payroll Clerk – Part-time

We are currently working with a leading FMCG distribution company based near Tenterden, Kent.

Based near the rural and scenic town of Tenterden, this family run company have a vast number years trading history, and at present require an experienced Payroll Clerk to assist their Account, and HR Managers with all payroll requirements.

The responsibilities of the part-time Payroll Clerk will include, yet not be limited to:

– Run both weekly and monthly payrolls for both hourly paid and salaried staff including
overtime and expenses (fuel and overnights for drivers etc)
– Processing statutory payments including SSP, SPP, SMP, Tax and NI
– Adding starter and leaver information
– Processing P11d’s, P45’s and P60’s
– Producing ad-hoc weekly and monthly reports
– Assisting with ad-hoc payroll duties when required

Candidate Profile

– Payroll experience
– SAGE knowledge
– Strong communication skills
– Computer literate

Salary and Hours

£10.50 – £11.50ph (£21,500pa)

Part-time 21 – 25 hours per week – 9am – 5pm

Logistics Planner

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Logistics Planner to report directly into the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

*Planning and routing of vehicles.
*Ensuring all appropriate documentation is in place – compliance and financial paperwork.
*Improving routes to maximise efficiencies.
*Scheduling of movements for customers.
*Communicating with drivers and customers.
*Internal admin and office support.
*Pro-actively resolve delays and concerns.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

*Ideally some experience with a Transport Planning role.
*Experience within a busy Transport office.
*Happy working within a demanding and ever-changing, fast paced environment.
*Good geographical knowledge.
*Proactive and dedicated, always looking to improve efficiencies.
*Happy communicating with drivers and customers.
*IT literate.
*Good communicator across all levels – internally and externally.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.
