Are you an experienced, driven Project Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have field sales experience?

Our client has a growing, successful reputation within the commercial construction industry and prides themselves on delivering an excellent, bespoke service to many blue chip companies through-out Kent and London. They are now looking to expand their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well established, market leading company on a permanent basis.

The role:
*To create and manage the proposal/ quotation process
*To lead various projects in collaboration with all disciplines within the business
*To ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
*To prepare internal and external progress reports
*Ensure diligent pre-contract planning is carried out
*Planning of the works in conjunction with the site team
*To ensure the successful delivery of our services by working closely with our Operations team and you will report directly to the Managing Director

Business Development Aspect of Role:
*To recognise and develop business growth opportunities with both existing and new clients
*To identify potential leads across all aspects of the project
*Attend networking meetings, exhibitions, conferences and entertaining clients
*Organise and attend sales meetings
*Prepare sales presentations
*Promote the other services we are able to offer if/ when the opportunity arises

Person Specification:
*Great team player but strong ability to work on their own
*Genuine passion towards their performance and conduct
*Able to take ownership of tasks and projects
*Proven track record in a sales role ideally in the construction industry sales environment
*Demonstrable experience of managing contracts/ clients
*Excellent communicator at all levels and functions of the business
*Strong time management skills
*Self-motivated with problem solving ability
*Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are essential
*Good level of PC literacy and Microsoft Office.

Hours of work:
Monday – Friday
9am – 5.30pm however flexibility is required
