Financial Officer

Are you ambitious and ready to use your existing skills and experience to hit the ground running in a Finance Officer role?

If so, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Officer to join a friendly team to carry out Finance duties within their financial function.

Duties and responsible of the role:

You will be responsible for providing the day to day financial management of the company, whilst supervising the work of the financial assistant. You will also be responsible for managing the financial affairs within the legal framework by complying with current legislation, statements of recommended practice and accounting codes of practice.

*Management Accounting
*Annual Estimates
*Internal Control
*Risk Management
*Pensions
*VAT
*Investments
*Payroll
*Utilities and Services
*Department Budgets
*Responsibility of insurance contracts

Personal specification:
*Recognised Financial Qualification
*Experience of Accounting Software
*Knowledge of local government statutory framework is desirable
*Organised and diligent

Hours:
*37 hours per week
*Annual Salary 35k rising to 40k after 6 months
*Pension with employer contribution
*Annual paid holiday 21 days rising to 25 day (pro rata) after 5 years (& Bank Holidays)

We are working with a reputable specialist finance provider. They are rapidly expanding and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

As part of the business development team you will be responsible for the following:
– Business development to originate business loans
– Keeping abreast of key market and regulatory developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics
– Develop a strong network of third party introducers
– Maintain and develop long term client relationships

You must have previous experience developing and obtaining strong links with both introducers and direct clients.

Key requirements for this role:
– Experience in the farming sector
– Strong preference for relationships with the commercial finance broker community
– Solid communication and project management skills
– Strong team player
– Excellent Excel and Word skills
– Good attention to detail
– Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Perfectly fluent in English

M&E Quantity Surveyor (Mechanically bias)

Our clients provide high-standard design, installation and consultancy services in the field of M & E, commercial fit-out and Public Health to their clients across a broad range of industries.

From concept to delivery they offer a turnkey service including conducting feasibility studies through to design, and plant and system selection. They also offer a comprehensive after-sales care service following installation and commissioning.

They are looking for an M & E Quantity Surveyor, ideally with commercial experience. They are open to the level of experience and will accept applications from assistant/intermediate level up to well-experienced individuals.

They are currently working on several large projects throughout London and have recently taken on another major project which requires additional resource.
