KHR is currently assisting a leading National FMCG business based near Maidstone who is looking to hire an experienced Reporting and Systems Support

A successful candidate will be good at interacting with people and understanding their requirements, have good SQL knowledge and ideally some knowledge of Prophet.
The learning curve will be steep, and there is a broad set of knowledge to pick up, but it is a fun and rewarding industry to work in for an inquisitive individual.

Your job will be split between two main areas. For half your time you will be working with the users with reports, understanding their needs and developing solutions to these requirements. For the rest of your time you will be working through the support desk, working with the systems team to resolve user problems with business systems.

Duties
*Report definition, creation & implementation
*Responsible for reporting environment & report development process
*Daily work on support system to resolve outstanding queries
*Work within systems team to support and document existing and new workflows
*Advocate good BI design and usage within the business
*Actively moving users from data heavy reports to aggregated dashboards
*Some data analysis work
*Active problem solving
*End-user system support for supply base
*Phone cover one week-end in ten with ad-hoc evening support during cover week. Small chance of having to attend site out of hours for emergencies.

Requirements
*Experience in a similar FMCG industry
*Data analysis
*Experience of database technologies beneficial – particularly SQL querying
*Report writing (PowerQuery in Excel as an example)
*Excel Macro / VBA knowledge
*If you have knowledge of Prophet this would be preferred
*Excellent communicator
*Highly numerate
*Autodidactic
*Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
*Logical & systematic
*Full, clean driving licence
*Willingness to work occasional unsocial hours

Systems Analyst

ERP Systems Analyst, Maidstone
Full Time, Permanent

We are working with a leading FMCG business in Maidstone that is seeking an experienced individual to support the business unit in the way it works, analysing processes and performance data, presenting improvement ideas and leading projects to optimise operational performance.

Utilising the ERP to support operational best practice and drive the company to work in the most efficient way possible.

The successful candidate will enjoy problem-solving, working with a broad range of stakeholders and making positive business-wide improvements. You will be able to deploy analytical and technical skills, supporting current workflows and working with operational teams to align their end-to-end activity. Some experience in production or manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

Duties
*To enable operations users to be able to carry out their duties using their core ERP system and supporting applications
*Identify system/workflow changes to optimise business processes and anticipating the impact of change
*Implement systems processes to complement the operational best practice
*A process-driven systems support approach to workflow improvement
*Ensure developments on core business systems are tested and implemented appropriately
*Implement new workflows and processes across all operational functions
*Analyse data and activities using reporting tools (Business Objects) and production systems
*Provide second-line support for operational queries; getting to the root causes of issues and providing solutions and ways forward for improved future results

Required skills
*3+ years of experience in System or Business Analysis or similar
*Business analyst skills (requirements gathering, process mapping & spec writing)
*Prophet ERP ideal, but any ERP or integrated system (WMS, MRP, etc.)
*Business Objects/Crystal Reports
*SQL querying (TSQL)
*Atlassian Products (JIRA/Confluence)
*Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
*Lean manufacturing
