Fraud, Reconciliation and Card Team Manager (FRAC)

Do you have significant banking operations experience with exposure to banking payment cards? Are you looking for a challenging new opportunity to include managing a team?

Our client, a bank based in West Malling, are recruiting for a Fraud, Reconciliation and Card (FRAC) Team Manager to lead a team of five staff. The department undertakes anti-fraud activities across the bank and this role will see you responsible for all start and end of day duties. You will need in-depth knowledge of payment card processes and banking regulatory framework.

Duties include:
– Overall management of FRAC team
– Key operational contact for issues with third party bank card suppliers
– Monitoring card performance against SLAs
– Maintain integrity of the bank daily reconciliation accounts, ensuring all anomalies are investigated
– Ensuring appropriate cover for all processing and admin tasks , in line with banking regulatory framework requirements
– Resolving problems by engaging with key stakeholders including bank managers and CRMs
– Overseeing recruitment, training and coaching to develop staff to their full potential
– Prepare and oversee delivery of training and internal communication material
– Ensuring all areas of fraud management, monitoring investigations and prevention are compliant with regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
– Significant banking operational experience
– Experience of working with banking payment cards
– Experience of electronic payment methods
– Experience of working within Anti-Fraud role
– Awareness of the Financial Services Regulatory Environment requirement
– Line Management and Leadership skills
– Highly experienced in industry compliance framework
– Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
– Flexible in start and finish times of working day

This role would suit someone with excellent relationship building and negotiating skills, looking for a challenge in a new commercial environment
