B2B Media Sales Executive

Our client, a niche and market leading publishing company, is looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join their growing sales team. With the aim of increasing sales turnover across all business sectors, your role will require motivation, a consultative approach, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

The team are passionate about what they do, and the successful candidate will enjoy contributing towards the success of the team and will be driven to achieve personal targets.

Duties of the role include:
– Selling advertising space for printed and online publications
– Sell event sponsorship, exhibition packages and delegate places
– Develop new business opportunities and increase sales from exisiting accounts
– Developing leads and approaching new clients
– Updating the CRM with your actions
– Attending client meetings, events, and exhibitions

This role would suit someone with 2-5 years media sales experience, with a full driving licence and transport, due to location.

Experience of living or working overseas, or speaking multiple languages, would be an advantage but not essential.

The ideal candidate will:
– Possess an excellent telephone manner and proven experience in media sales/telesales.
– Be self-motivated and driven
– Be career concious and always striving to achieve more
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Have the ability to work as part of a team.
– Have B2B Media sales experience
– Genuinely enjoy selling and building relationships
– Educated to degree level

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm. You will occasionally be required to start earlier or finish later to make calls to different timezones.

The Marketing Executive role will involve working with minimal supervision whilst working closely with a management committee to develop robust plans.

Marketing Executive duties of the role include:

– Raising the companies profile within local markets
– Leveraging and coordinating outside influencers
– New business generation through the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns
– Regular monitoring and reporting on campaign progress and ROI
– Coordinating and managing company events
– Copywriting and producing marketing communications
– Web copy and coordination of digital communications

This role would suit someone with a CIM qualification and experience in a professional services environment, for example legal, banking, finance etc.

– Commercial and strategic outlook
– Excellent understanding of marketing and business development processes
– Strong, relevant, prior experience
– Strong project management skills

This is a full time position, based predominantly in Gravesend, but will require work in other branches, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Business Development Manager

We are working with an innovative high growth Tech SME working to push the boundaries of vehicle camera technology, currently getting involved in ADAS and Self-Driving Vehicles who are looking for a Business Development Manager.

Their mission is to bridge the in-vehicle safety technology gap between domestic and commercial vehicles, bringing advanced security technology to commercial vehicles and their drivers, both inside and out. This is an exciting and pioneering business; we are the first company to be approved by TFL to fit CCTV systems in London’s black cabs to securing partnerships with global leaders – RAC and CEMEX groups.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to become the first point of contact a new potential client will have with our business when they are seeking information on the products and services we provide. To excel in this role you could come from a Fleet Management background or have a keen interest in technology and vehicle technology, a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

Business Development Manager job Description:
*Responds to RFP’s, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.
*Generate new business and take over a mix of existing accounts.
*Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
*Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
*Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
*Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
*Generating sales with excellent closing ability.
*Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

Business Development Manager Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field / alternatively an ex Fleet Manager would excel in this role due to having a sound appreciation of the industry and excellent networking skills and experience.
*4-5 years’ experience in sales /BDM role.
*Those with industry experience within CCTV/ Technology Solutions/Automotive industry will be at an advantage and prioritised.
*Strong communication and people skills, an excellent sales strategy and closing technique.
*Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
*Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
*IT proficient and comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
*The ideal candidate will be based near the M25 for ease of access for client meetings and the office headquarters in Woolwich, London.
*Must have a full driving UK license (clean preferred) and happy to go through a criminal background check.

*42.5 hour week working a 8.5 hour day between 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday
