The role
*Responsible for supporting brand marketing team colleagues on PR initiatives, promotional and sponsorship activities, offline advertising, content development and marketing events.
*Assist with the implementation of PR activities across Europe including press trip organisation, CSR, PR stunts, projects and initiatives.
*Assist with the management and delivery of marketing events, sponsorships and promotional activities, plus offline advertising campaigns.
*Assist with the production of marketing content and the implementation of brand marketing projects.
*Liaise with external agencies.
*Support PR manager with crisis management.
*Ensure campaigns and projects across marketing are fully supported.

Knowledge and qualifications
*2+ years’ experience in marketing, PR or campaign management.
*Experience in PR activities.
*Excellent English language skills.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Experience in writing marketing copy is desirable.
*Experience in offline media, promotions, event management is desirable.
*Marketing, Creative, or Business degree or professional qualification is desirable.

Job role
To gather news stories, project updates and pictures from the sites and regional teams. Ensure news and pictures are shared on social media channels and intranet. In addition, maintain company brand standards, manage the intranet updating, and support company events. Support the manager with design work as required.

Support the head of marketing and the communications manager to enhance the brand by gathering and promoting the company through good news from across the sites and regions both externally and internally.

Key Responsibilities
* To build relationships with the site and regional teams to ensure all news is fed in and visible to the group and external audiences via social media, the company intranet and the company website
* Help to co-ordinate relevant news for the company newsletter.
* Maintain relationships with internal colleagues to ensure effective sharing of news across the business
* Keep project progress pictures updated and saved in the files for use in project storyboards
* When on site be brand aware. Ensure colours, brand and signage is in accordance with marketing manager’s site signage guide and alert them if it is not adhered to
* Keep a schedule of when resident newsletters are needed. When on site liaise with the team to ensure content is gathered for newsletters.
* Support the managers with event organisation including conferences and regional events

Qualifications
* Journalism or design qualifications desirable
* Prior experience in writing content or PR would be a distinct advantage
* Excellent written communication skills required
* Previously worked in construction, housing, manufacturing, or similar type industry would be beneficial.
* Exposure to Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator would be good, or can demonstrate a natural creative flair.
* Ability to understand the importance of branding and communication is essential.
* You must be a self-starter, motivated and eager to learn and develop.

Please do note this role will be based from the HQ in North Kent, but you will be expected to travel to sites at least 3 times a week which are throughout London and the South East.
