A 2AA Rosette fine dining restaurant set in the beautiful Kent countryside are looking for 2 x Temporary Chefs to join them for 2 x events.

Friday 23rd July to Sunday 25th July inclusive
Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August inclusive

Hours TBC

Duties
*Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
*Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
*Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
*Supervising all kitchen stations
*Being responsible for health and safety
*Being responsible for food hygiene practices
*Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
*Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
*Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines

Requirements
*Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
*Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace Award
*Minimum 2 years relevant experience
*Awareness of manual handling techniques
*Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
*Experience of kitchen equipment
*Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
*High level of attention to detail
*Good oral communication
*Team management skills
*Good level of numeracy
*Good knowledge of all sections
*Competent level of English spoken and written
