We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is wanting to develop skills in the world of marketing and advertising with a particular focus on retail.

The candidate will support the implementation of digital marketing/advertising campaigns throughout the business’s various in-store digital screens.

You will be working with the manager on strategic direction and liaising with external creative teams to plan, organise, deploy, and manage the marketing materials via bespoke CMS’.

Duties
*Taking briefs from manager and liaising with external creative teams to ensure this is delivered on time and correctly.
*Uploading all content onto in-store digital screens via a bespoke CMS
*Scheduling timing of digital screens to maximise impact and in-store spend
*Updating the marketing calendar
*Liaising with store management teams to communicate relevant marketing information and give marketing support at retail level.
*Compiling, reviewing and actioning store marketing recommendations/adjustments
*Analyse in-store effectiveness and develop potential future strategies alongside other marketing and retail departments.
*Raising POs and invoicing

Requirements
*Some knowledge or experience of marketing/digital would be beneficial
*Some knowledge of the retail environment would be advantageous but not essential
*Excellent communicator – Lots of remote communication with various departments as well as face-face meetings
*Highly organised and good at prioritising
*Have an analytical and creative mind
*Must have own transport and be happy to travel with very occasional overnight trips
*Have exceptional administration skills
*Good spelling/grammar and a high level of numeracy
*Strong MS office skills
*Can-do attitude

I am working with a leading manufacturing company near Broadstairs who are seeking an Ecommerce Development individual to join their team.

This role is to develop growth plans to sell the products on ecommerce platforms including marketing content, pricing and web development strategy, whilst providing focus and commercial support for the products range.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
*Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to profitably grow ecommerce revenue
*Provide commercial support for business unit
*Monitor, manage and update all websites
*Provide literature support through advertising, brochures and targeted e-shot and mail campaigns
*Support new product launch plans online and through traditional channels
*Liaise with colleagues to write and promote case studies.
*Design and implement press releases
*Monitor PR activities, media and customer metrics to formulate growth plans.
*Provide customer service cover as and when required.

Skills required
*Graduate in business, economics, finance or similar field
*Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Amazon preferred
*Commercially astute with knowledge of basic finance/accounts functions
*Trained/experience with marketing techniques
*Experience using CMS
*Exceptional spelling and grammar

A digital marketing manager is required to develop, implement, track and optimise the digital and social marketing campaigns across all digital channels on behalf of leading clients.

The successful candidate will also have direct client liaison and commercial accountability.

This individual is required to be a strategic thinker who can plan the digital campaign process and offer guidance to clients, as well as being hands on in the delivery.

Responsibilities
*Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and digital display advertising campaigns (PPC) etc
*Plan, manage and measure the social media presence of clients to suggest campaign developments
*Brainstorm new and creative digital growth strategies
*Collaborate with internal teams to create online content and optimise user experience
*Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements
*Proven working experience in digital- 2 years plus
*Experience in an agency environment would be required
*Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns at a strategic level as well as delivery.
*Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
*Planning and distributing social and digital content collateral – creating assets independently and working with design team on production of visual content
*Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
*Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
*Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Digital Marketing Manager

Digital Marketing Manager

We are recruiting for a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to join a small but expanding Digital Marketing Team and work on a portfolio of high-profile accounts.

The role reports into the Head of Digital Marketing and we require someone who can work autonomously.

As well as a very competitive salary the client offers a great range of benefits including 34 days holiday (inc. bank holidays), good pension scheme, gym membership and continued development plans. They also offer flexible home working, but you will be required to be within a reasonable commute of the office to attend meetings when needed.

Job Role
As Digital Marketing Manager, you are expected to be able to work across marketing disciplines and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of client activity in 3 key areas:

1.Search Engine Optimisation
*Interpretation of website quality audits
*Manage the delivery of technical website audits
*Manage the delivery of keyword research for existing client web pages
*Manage the delivery of keyword gap analysis for client websites
*Manage the delivery of client content marketing plans
*Manage link acquisition via a third-party agency

2.Paid Media
*Setup and management of paid search campaigns across Google and Microsoft Advertising
*Setup and management of paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
*Setup and management of display campaigns across Google and Microsoft Advertising
*Setup and management of audiences across all platforms
*In time looking to take paid media management to the next level, it will be vital to deliver efficiencies using Google Ads scripts or third-party tools such as Adzooma or Adalysis

3.Analytics and Business Intelligence (This is preferred, but can be learnt on the job)
*Management of Google Tag Manager containers, including variables, triggers and tag setup
*Management of Google Analytics properties including view definition and goal tracking
*Definition and build of standard and bespoke reports in Google Data Studio
*Longer term explores the opportunities offered by centralising data

Requirements
*3-5 years digital marketing experience
*A strong understanding of marketing principles and practices (CIM or degree preferred)
*Paid media management and SEO knowledge is essential
*Analytics/BI knowledge would be preferred
*A mix of brand and agency experience would be an advantage
*Recent certifications from Google or Microsoft Advertising would be beneficial
*Any experience utilising Google Big Query and Supermetrics would be an advantage
*Experience off-shoring core SEO tasks would be beneficial
*Experience utilising Segment, Google Analytics 360, Google Big Query, Data Build Tool (dbt), Stitch or Looker would be an advantage.
*Strong presentation skills, both delivery and asset production (reports, RFPs)

While this offers remote working, you do need to be within a 2-hour commute to Ashford to enable attendance at planned and ad-hoc meetings.
