Can you work quickly, efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment?

Our client, based near Tunbridge Wells, are looking for bright and enthusiastic Warehouse/Production Operatives to join their team. Picking and packing experience is helpful but not essential.

Duties of the role include:

– picking and packing orders
– wrapping and packaging products
– packing wrapped products ready for dispatch
– Quality checking products before dispatch
– unpacking incoming products and distributing in warehouse#
– wrapping and unwrapping pallets

The ideal candidate will:

– Have some warehouse/picking & packing experience
– Be an excellent team player
– Have basic computer skills
– Speak good standard of English
– Able to work various shift patterns (however not essential)

This position could be on an ongoing basis, depending on how well you prove yourself.

Are you qualified with a Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with experience in the use of 3D CAD software?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in East Kent.

Role Responsibilities include;

* Process Certification (ProCert) ensuring that all design critical characteristics are controlled and verified during the manufacturing process.
* Leading process risk analysis activities and implementing control actions as required.
* Provide root cause analysis of reoccurring issues and the implementation of corrective and preventative measures.
* Establish and champion a culture of lean manufacturing that engages all staff and to identify improvement opportunities.
* Taking a lead role in the Design Review process such that design for manufacture process is incorporated into the product design process.
* Develop strong working relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Vendors.
* Assist in the creation of manufacturing assembly system and test plans from detailed engineering specifications.
* Fostering strong working relationships with colleagues in associated departments.
* Monitoring and analysis of control charts to ensure processes are in control.

About You;

The successful candidate should have related experience with project management and a working knowledge of inter-department responsibility and functionality including but not limited to Sales, Product line Management, Design, Operations and Customer Care.

* At least 2 years’ experience within a Production Engineering or Manufacturing Support role.
* Professionally qualified with a Degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.
* Experience of working in a modern product development and manufacturing environment.
* Experience in the use of 3D CAD software.
* Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvements.
* Working knowledge of current ERP software desirable but not essential.
* Working knowledge of Quality Assurance, Configuration and Process Controls.

Do you have mechanical workshop experience, with knowledge of working in an Engineering workshop or Property Maintenance environment?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to progress quickly and gain further experience working in a modern manufacturing environment. You will be the Workshop / Site Services Technician, joining a leading manufacturer in East Kent.

Role Responsibilities:
* Modification and rework of production parts as and when necessary, and on time delivery of parts back to production.
* Design, manufacture and maintenance of assembly tooling, equipment and fixtures.
* Jig and tool design and manufacture
* To carry our periodic preventative equipment maintenance.
* To perform maintenance and upgrade of the factory and production facilities to ensure conformance of operations and compliance with established standards.
* To keep the workshop organised and in orderly manner, and to ensure that health and safety matters are addressed within the workshop as per company procedures.
* Ensuring that all in service equipment and tooling is fit for purpose.
* Providing support for factory maintenance tasks on an as required basis.

About You:

* HNC/ONC in to include mechanical workshop practice or QBE
* Knowledge and skills of working in an Engineering Workshop and property maintenance environment.
* Knowledge and skills of working with machine tools.
* Computer literate including use of Planned Preventative
* Maintenance Systems, AutoCAD (or similar) CAD systems and Microsoft Office.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience of working in a modern manufacturing environment.
