Established and growing business based in the heart of Medway are looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties
*Receipting goods into stock using warehouse management system
*Transferring stock from the holding area into a racking area
*Replenishing stock
*The safe, effective, customer and business focused picking and packing of a range of stock for business user’s and end user’s across the UK
*Packing and loading
*Compile orders by picking stock items from a range of locations, packing safely and effectively for forward transportation
*Maintain own and others awareness of key Health and Safety practices (including manual handling
*Ensure warehouse and surrounding areas are kept clean, tidy and hazard free

Key skills and qualifications
*Prior warehouse picking/packing experience is absolutely essential
*Good English, numeracy and IT skills (Excel)
*Must be able-bodied – Some lifting involved
*Able to work well alone and as part of a team
*Flexible and self-motivated

Warehouse operative with forklift licence

The Role
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and receiving materials, and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
*Unload goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.
*Separate customer orders. Pull and stage orders. Repack material if required to meet customer specifications. As required, makes boxes, packs, labels and locates materials.
*Ensure all products are properly labelled.
*May perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.
*Participate in cycle counting. Enter and verify information. Research and makes adjustments as necessary.
*Review preventative maintenance check sheets for forklifts. Ensures good working order of machines.
*Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
*May be required to handle the accumulation, disposal and transportation of hazardous waste. If required to do so, must participate in pre-requisite training in order to meet the RCRA waste management requirements.
*Drive forklifts.
*Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
*High school qualification – GCSE
*Fork lift truck licence
*6 months+ materials and warehouse experience
*Quantitative skills
*Conflict resolution skills
*Manual dexterity
*Reading/comprehension

Van Driver with Warehouse experience

Are you an experienced delivery driver with warehouse experience? If so, our client needs you.

Working within this growing tech company just outside of Maidstone you will spend most of your time delivering items to London and to other events in the South East. The rest of the time will be spent working in the Warehouse so an interest in both is a must.

Duties:
loading vehicle with items
safely strapping items down
checking weight of vehicle falls in lines with regulations
Some weeks there will be more driving than others so any down time will be spent in the Warehouse with the team, PAT testing cables and organising stock and assisting the Warehouse staff where needed. Ongoing training will be given for all aspects of the Warehouse.

Essential
Hours are 8.30 – 4.30pm but flexibility is essential
physically fit
Team Player
Full clean drivers licence

Desirable
FLT licence
Interest in Tech
