Parts Administrator

Salary: £31403.28
Hours: 39 hours per week
(Some travel is required – So must have access to a car and have a full driving licence)

My client is looking for an experienced Parts Office Administrator to join their growing team.

To help deliver excellent customer service by providing support to the parts operation team through various roles and responsibilities.

Main Tasks:
– Achieve a high level of support to the sales team to ensure minimum downtime for customer’s vehicles
– Answering customer telephone enquiries, dealing with electronic enquiries and serving on the counter as necessary.
– Arrange the collection and delivery of parts as required, for both customers and suppliers using the most efficient method of dispatch.
– To raise credit notes as per the customer returns process and invoice query process.
– To source and raise orders for items such as packing materials, stationery, and tools.
– Advise the Parts Manager of any customer or operational problems or complaints.
– Assist with stock checks and the annual stock take.
– To work with the accounts staff to minimise disruption due to blocked invoices.
– Obtain the relevant information from suppliers for new parts and begin the material creation process.
– Perform data entry roles, including updating records and databases.
– To assist the Parts Manager with parts department projects and KPIs
– To maintain and manage the electronic and manual systems for both Import and Export MSS
reporting.
– Carry out general clerical office tasks, including post, printing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing etc.
– To undertake other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature which reflect the level of those described above that may be required by management.

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities and Manager to join their growing team on a permanent contract, based in Birmingham.

As the Facilities Manager you will be required to plan and coordinate specific site maintenance contracts and any remedial actions arising from the undertaking of the work, which will include the maintenance of the infrastructure of the site using SAP to request and justify any additional maintenance request.

Duties include:
– Responsible for statutory requirements for fire safety and loss prevention. This will require involvement in fire pump performance testing, sprinkler weekly bell testing,
zoned fire alarm system service contract, extinguisher gas systems, and monthly risk
assessment area checks and to be the responsible person for fire safety advisory and
competence on site.
– In conjunction with the Engineering Manager and Purchasing be involved in negotiating
the technical content of the site service contracts.
– Using SAP – to coordinate service contract WO’s and POs for the following and to carry out any remedial actions as necessary.
– Manage the backlog of work generated from Audits.
– Be available to provide support on planned shutdowns, supervising and carrying out key
tasks as necessary.
– If of an Electrical Discipline, to be able to support HV work, any necessary electrical shut works, Isolations, permits, and contractor control.
– To support Engineering Works identified by the utilities team
– Tank inspections and documentation of reports and any necessary rectification works.

What we are looking for:
– Experience in Large industry manufacturing.
– Level 3 Engineering Qualification.
– Full knowledge of legislative and compliance essentials of carrying out a site facilities manager role.
– Previous experience in managing compliance and legislation.
– A fully time-served engineer with practical and management experience. (In facilities management).
– Resilient Manager, with experience in dealing with conflicting priorities.
– Able to plan and coordinate multiple tasks.

The market-leading business is currently recruiting for a Lead Engineer to join their field-based team covering the Central London area.

Responsibilities:
– Responsible for field activity across a geographic portfolio of buildings.
– Assist maintenance engineers to complete PPM tasks in line with the yearly planner within our contracts, for example, FCUs, AHUs, Pumps, Motors, Lighting & Emergency Lighting, and L8 water hygiene tasks.
– Assist maintenance engineers in completing basic repairs, for example, basic plumbing – ball valves, toilet systems, basic electrical emergency light repairs, ballast changes etc.
– Carry out PPM duties to the relevant schedule when covering a site and make sure cover engineers complete the PPM when covering including eL /CAFM systems are kept up to date.
– Carry out reactive works when requested within an acceptable time frame
– Carry out a reduced maintenance round, on sites which is their sole responsibility.
– Responsible for a remote operational base within one of their maintenance sites, along with appropriate system access.
– Assist the Customer Service Team with the following regarding your portfolio
– Triage call-outs and assign call-out engineers.
– Managing the repair schedule.
– Arranging sickness cover.
– CAFM system responsibilities.

– Previous experience within a lead engineer position is essential.
