Are you a 1st Line Support or Helpdesk Engineer with excellent software application and hardware knowledge? Do you have excellent communication and customer service skills?

Our client, based within walking distance of Tunbridge Wells station, is looking for a Helpdesk Engineer on a temporary basis. This role will see you as a first point of contact when an IT issue arises and you will be providing end user support, training and guidance on the phone and in person.

You will be responsible for making sure all IT devices are correctly configured and actively engaging with users. You will also be completing routine and scheduled maintenance and processing requests for IT equipment for meetings.

Key areas of your knowledge will include:
– MS Windows operating system
– Office 365 (inc. Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)
– Citrix Xen App
– Meraki
– Uniflow
– Software Install
– Printers

You will also need two years experience in a helpdesk environment and the ability to organise your own workload.

IT Support Engineer

We are currently working with a leading FMCG distributor, based in Sittingbourne.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their established team.

The IT Support Engineer will provide 1st and 2nd line support to all business users, providing a first point of contact for all incidents relating to business software or infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities will include:

Solve problems where viable or escalate and liaise with third parties until issues are resolved.
Provide a testing role including trialling, evaluating and deploying new equipment.
Proactively participate in the development of the services provided and procedures adopted by the team.
Monitor systems and proactively recognise and raise issues to the business and to the IT Manager where required.
Maintain and update IT systems with a view to reviewing and replacing hardware.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

IT infrastructure and service desk experience is essential.
Working with end users, customers and suppliers.
Excellent problem and incident management skills.
Ability to work to SLA’s
Good attention to detail, organisational skills and excellent team working skills.

Photocopier Engineer

Are you an experienced Photocopier Engineer? Have you worked on MFD’s manufactured by Ricoh, Kyocera, Toshiba, or Konica Minolta? Do you currently hold a full UK driving licence?
