IT Helpdesk & Support Specialist

We are currently working with a leading Business Advisory Service based in Kings Hill, Kent.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk & Support Specialist to join their established team.

Responsibilities will include:

Serve as first point of contact for technical support for network users seeking technical assistance through the company’s helpdesk system.
Assist the international IT team in coordinating helpdesk activities to ensure service level targets are met or exceeded including promotion of helpdesk function and software to improve user satisfaction.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions and determine best solutions based on the identified issue and details provided by the users.
Walk users through the problem‐solving process via videoconferencing (Teams), phone calls and/or email including recording events and problems and their resolution in logs of their helpdesk system or direct unresolved issues to the next level of support.
Suggestion of possible improvements on tools and procedures including the creation of reference material, guides, and training presentations.
Training, assistance, and guidance on the use of Microsoft supported tools and applications used within the organisation (Microsoft 365 software, Dynamics 365)
Participate in the development and testing of new tools and software.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an IT helpdesk environment as a technician or another user‐orientated IT support role.
Tech savvy with advanced working knowledge of Office 365 (admin panel, Teams, Dynamics 365, etc.), office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.
Ability to problem solve.
Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external teams and management

We are working with a leading FMCG business in Maidstone that is seeking an experienced individual to support the business unit in the way it works, analysing processes and performance data, presenting improvement ideas and leading projects to optimise operational performance.

Utilising the ERP to support operational best practice and drive the company to work in the most efficient way possible.

The successful candidate will enjoy problem-solving, working with a broad range of stakeholders and making positive business-wide improvements. You will be able to deploy analytical and technical skills, supporting current workflows and working with operational teams to align their end-to-end activity. Some experience in production or manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

Duties
*To enable operations users to be able to carry out their duties using their core ERP system and supporting applications
*Identify system/workflow changes to optimise business processes and anticipating the impact of change
*Implement systems processes to complement the operational best practice
*A process-driven systems support approach to workflow improvement
*Ensure developments on core business systems are tested and implemented appropriately
*Implement new workflows and processes across all operational functions
*Analyse data and activities using reporting tools (Business Objects) and production systems
*Provide first-line support for operational queries; getting to the root causes of issues and providing solutions and ways forward for improved future results

Required skills
*3+ years of experience in System or Business Analysis or similar
*Business analyst skills (requirements gathering, process mapping & spec writing)
*Prophet ERP ideal, but any ERP or integrated system (WMS, MRP, etc.)
*Business Objects/Crystal Reports
*Data querying
*Successful implementation of new processes and applications into the wider business
*Quickly assimilates new knowledge, and comfortable using data to analyse user and system behaviour, highlighting problems and providing solutions
*Lean manufacturing

Project Manager – Software Implementation (Contract)

Project Manager – Software Implementation

A fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing telecoms business as a Project Manager. Reporting into the PMO, I am seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager on a contractual basis for at least 4 months to assist in the project delivery of software to drive efficiencies and streamline processes within the business. This role will have full responsibility for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution and delivery of the implementation of software projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

– Creating a project plan based on internal stakeholder requirements
– Liaise with software supplier(s) to create an implementation plan based on requirements
– Manage virtual internal team and liaise with software supplier Project Management team to ensure the project plan is delivering to budget and to delivery timescales
– Create a change control mechanism to assess changes and their implications to the project
– Bring structure, discipline and control to a programme to ensure excellence in delivery in terms of cost, time and quality
– Identification and management of dependencies on milestones within the project plan
– Act as the lead and focal point for the project driving people behaviours and production of deliverables to achieve the desired outcomes of the project
– Define the project overall governance arrangements
– The establishment of effective project controls to include, but not limited to, configuration, risk, dependency and financial management
– Preparation of reports to the Senior Leadership Team where it is necessary to update on project progress
– Create project Exit Management Plan
– Perform duties according to all Company policies, procedures and instructions

Candidate Profile

– Have at least 2 years of project management experience, combined with an accreditation
– Demonstrate strong project planning skills designing projects to meet business goals
– Have experience in leading virtual teams and suppliers
– Love creating and analysing data sources, leveraging outputs to identify opportunities in streamlining project plans
– Be highly adaptable, able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
