The key requirement of the Desktop Support is to assist the on-site and remote users with all hardware and software issues. Providing solutions as promptly as possible.

Roles and Responsibilities

– Reports to Senior Network Admin
– End-user support for on-site & remote users
– End-user support for supplier base
– Working with the IT Support system to deliver a responsive, quality service to
internal customers

The role
The Developer serves as a central person responsible for technology and platforms within the organisation. You will create strategy and guide others in implementing technical solutions for the company. You propose innovative solutions and drive their implementation and support.

Due to many exciting new project wins our client is on the hunt for a talented front-end WordPress Developer.

The company is a small but growing company who have been operating for nearly 25 years. They are based in a rural setting surrounded by scenic views in North Kent. Working within an established team of amazing front-end developers and designers, the ideal candidate is both meticulous and innovative – able to leverage different technologies to produce beautifully crafted websites. The successful candidate will enjoy coding and always look to keep up-to-date with current standards (especially CSS / JavaScript) and practices in your field. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 3 year’s commercial experience or similar in a front-end coding position.

We are looking for an individual who can tackle all stages of web development – from discussing client needs, planning and design, through to build and deployment of each project.

Skills and experience required:
● Willingness to work in a fast-paced working environment
● The ability to code designs supplied by our design studio, from flat design
files, usually created with Photoshop or Figma

● Expert knowledge of creating custom WordPress themes using Advanced
Custom Fields and WooCommerce
● 3 years’ experience of WordPress
● Amazing HTML, CSS and JavaScript
● Experience with GIT

across multiple devices
● Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with others
● The ability to work on own initiative within a busy environment
● MySQL experience
● Very strong attention to detail – pixel perfection required

● Driver and have own car (no public transport available near the office)

Other skills that would be advantageous but not necessary:

This role is a full-time position. They do offer remote working but they would ideally like the individual to be office based 2-3 times a week once everyone is back to office based working.

We are working with a growing logistics business based in the Kent countryside.

The client work with a number of prestigious clients. Due to developments in the company they are looking for 2 x experienced RPG programmers to join them on a permanent basis to work on their bespoke system.

This will be to work as part of a small but expanding IT team. They require self-starters who need little guidance within their roles.

Experience
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience using RPG
*Good knowledge of AS400
