Assistant Fulfilment Manager
Salary: £30k per annum
Monday to Friday: 7am – 4.30pm (42 hours per week)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for one of the fastest-growing brands in the UK for an experienced Assistant Fulfilment Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate would need to be solution-focused and organised. This role is perfect for someone who can lead by example and help us grow in a purposeful way.

As an Assistant Fulfilment Manager for our Fulfilment team, you’ll be a solution-focused, organised person who demonstrates a passion for detail and quality. Your communication skills will enable you to interact at all levels, talking to team members in motivational language, with instructions and firm authority when needed.

The Fulfilment team are responsible for ensuring that customers receive the right products on time every time. The Assistant Fulfilment Manager will ensure that customers always receive the best service.

The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring that our fulfilment deliverables are consistently and accurately achieved while being able to adjust ways of working as needed to improve quality and maintain the output of the team. You will assist in leading a fast-growing fulfilment team; set the standards, train the team, build the culture and lead continuous improvements.
We welcome applications from candidates who have recent experience within a B2C FMCG fulfilment/dispatch function.

Responsibilities will include:
* Monitor and maintain the productivity of the fulfilment lines being managed as well as ensuring the smooth management of the order & dispatch portal.
* Have detailed knowledge and understanding of the order management & dispatch portal.
* Liaise with the company’s cloud software team and tech team to escalate any order handling issues are escalated immediately and proactively.
* Plan and manage people resources to meet daily fulfilment needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
* You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced fulfilment/dispatch environment, ideally in a hands-on B2C in FMCG leadership role.
* You will demonstrate strong experience and confidence in the use of cloud-based technologies and IT hardware & software, especially Google docs.
* You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and will be able to inspire people as well as be firm when required.
* You will need a strong level of spoken and written English skills for this role. The ability to speak and understand other European languages would be an advantage.
* You will have developed resilience skills and be able to deal calmly with the unexpected as well as deliver the day-to-day essentials.
* You will work well as a team member as well as work under your own initiative with limited support required.
* You will lead by example with excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver consistently to deadlines.
