A very successful Accountancy Practice based in Maidstone are looking for several Bookkeepers to join their small team and progress internally.

Whilst holding an AAT qualification may be a bonus, if you’re supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong experienced background only is equally of interest.

* 20 days + Bank holidays rising to 25 days plus bank holidays after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years

Role Overview:

This is a varied and busy role where you will be working for various clients. This role will involve both administrative and accountancy work. Our client uses voice recognition with web based software to make your life easier! As you grow with this role, there could be opportunities to take on the management accounts as a later stage.
* Preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns
* Daily bookkeeping, balance sheets, budgets, management accounts and credit control
* Purchase ledger
* Supplier payments

About You:

* This role would suit a professional and committed candidate with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Whilst holding an AAT qualification may be a bonus, if you’re supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong experienced background only is equally of interest.
* Preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns Daily bookkeeping, balance sheets, budgets, management accounts and credit control
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
* Keen to progress your career
* You will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills
* You will be in direct contact by email and telephone with this prestigious client, so you must be articulate and confident on the telephone.
* A background in catering finance or the leisure industry would be an advantage, although this is desirable but not essential.
