If you are a driven business development individual looking for an exciting new opportunity to make your own, we could have the ideal position for you!

Our client who are based in Maidstone and seeking someone to cover the East Kent area. This will be a home-based contract, but you must have your own transport to be able to visit new clients and come to the office for meetings etc.

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in the next stage of their strategy. They will be responsible for driving further business growth. This includes developing and expanding a network of contacts, attracting new clients, researching new market opportunities, and overseeing growth projects. This is a result driven appointment and therefore provides an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, money driven individual.

As well as a competitive salary they will offer commission, pension, travel paid at HMRC rates, and free parking in Maidstone when visiting the office.

Duties:
*Developing plans for business/revenue growth based on objectives set by the Board
*Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
*Researching prospective accounts in target markets
*Pursuing leads and moving them through to a sale
*Developing proposals/tender documents for prospective clients (alongside marketing manager)
*Attending industry relevant events

Qualifications and skills:
*Prior experience in a business development role – B2B
*Experience with using social media e.g., LinkedIn to build relationships etc.
*Must be able to communicate with professional firm clients. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
*Must be comfortable juggling numerous clients, on- and off-site meetings, and deadlines. Highly organised and well equipped to manage the many parts of the job and keep tasks on track.
*Must understand how to prioritise their time and be comfortable managing a calendar and adjusting their schedule as needed.
*Must have good technical and computer skills in order to track leads, client calls and document where each prospect is in the process.
*Drive and self-motivated.
*Own transport with a clean driving licence as travel will be necessary

This position is available on a part-time or full-time basis. The core hours of the company are 9am – 5pm, but they are flexible for someone to manage their own diary.

This will be a home-based contract, but you must have your own car and be prepared to go to client sites and the office as and when required.
