A leading UK & Global manufacturer, who export worldwide, require a home based Business Development Manager to work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Customer Services Team Leader to meet sales targets and generate profitable sales across the North of England.

Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to meet sales targets and achieve agreed KPI’s.
Liaising with the UK and Marketing Coordinators and Customer Services Team to maximise the opportunity to quote and close sales for both new and existing customers.
Supporting customers with projects, technical issues and concerns and building relationships with customers in the process.
Researching new opportunities.
Planning area activity – implement, chase and monitor quotes and activity.
Undertake customer training and technical customer visit requests.
Proactively seek new business opportunities.
Maintaining customer records on a CRM system.
Attend industry events and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid and successful business development background, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You will be driven and motivated to achieve all targets set. With an autonomous approach, you will be able to manage your time effectively and work from a home office travelling to meet customers on a daily basis.
