Due to vast growth, our client is seeking a Commercial / Accounts Administrator with broad knowledge of products and services ideally in a similar industry/position, who can build relationships both internally and externally. We are looking for a resourceful, ambitious and trustworthy individual who is willing to learn and take responsibility.
With the view to become a part of the management team within 24 months, this really is a great opportunity for you to join a world-renowned British manufacturer.
The ideal candidate would be required to rotate between both the accounts and commercial offices allowing the opportunity to absorb knowledge and company insight in order to really establish themselves and develop exciting career progression.
General duties include learning and progression through day to day aspects of the Commercial Office & Despatch departments including; Complaints, Purchasing, Order Processing and Stock Control whilst supporting the accounts department with Accounts Payable Invoices, Banking, Credit Control, preparation of Reports, General Ledger Schedules and Stock Valuations.
Following a successful initial period thereafter moving into assisting with Salaries, Insurance, Financial Statements and planning as well as generally assisting the Commercial Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and undertake an all-round position and in return will be given the opportunity to fast-track into management.
Other desired skills include the ability to:
*Comfortable in liaising with customers and stakeholders (UK and international) acting as the main point of contact for some customers (domestic and export) dealing with requests for information and literature.
*Accounting knowledge, experience or qualification
*Competent/Strong knowledge and working ability of MS Office including MS Excel.
*Knowledge of ERP Software (Epicor – desired)
