We are currently working with a leading global manufacturer of specialist equipment based in Swanley.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join their engineering team and be involved in the design and development of one of their existing products.

The Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for:

Carrying out goods inwards inspections of PCB boards, housing and components against drawings.
Carrying out manufacturing of electronic components to IPC610 standard.
Ensuring compliance with production drawings, standards and assembly instructions.
Basic fault finding and system checking of product as needed.
Calibration of finished units.
Recording test results.
Working with the Senior Engineer to support existing and future product development.

The Electronic Design Engineer will be able to demonstrate:

A degree in electronics or relevant field.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar roles.
Experience in assembling PCB’s.
High standards of soldering, fault finding and proficiency with standard computer applications.
An understanding of regulatory requirements for products used in potentially explosive atmospheres would be desirable.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
