We are currently working with a leading global manufacturer of precision instruments used across a variety of industry sectors.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator/Tig Welder to join their established team.

The role will involve performing a variety of fabrication, assembly and Tig welding functions on stainless steel, carbon steel and exotic pipe assemblies. These will range from 1/2″ to 4″ nominal bore (2mm to 15mm thick). You will also be required to work with general workshop machinery such as lathes, band saws and drilling machines to prepare materials for the welding process.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 3-4 years’ welding experience – ASME IX experience would be beneficial.
Knowledge of general machine operation and material preparation prior to welding.
Solid experience of Tig welding, preferably ss316 pipe and fittings.
Hold or previously held recognised weld codings.
Experience in a quality controlled environment is preferable.

Hours will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm (30 minutes for lunch)
