This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a highly respected Head of HR who is very good at what she does. Working in a team of 4 this is your opportunity as the HR Assistant to work for one of the leading companies in their sector. The role will start as a 1-year contract to cover maternity leave but there is a very good chance that this role will go perm as the HR department is going to increase its headcount very soon anyway due to business growth.

The purpose of the role is to:
*Support the Head of Human Resources
*Manage analytics including, Monthly KPI’s, Exit interviews and Staff Surveys

Responsibilities will include:
*Complete administration of salaried payroll including pension reporting
*Resolve all salaried payroll queries
*Full administration of HR documents to include contracts of employment, addendums, reference letters, new starter and leaver documentation, holiday/absence/recording etc
*Manage medium levels of recruitment by supporting managers with setting up new vacancies, processing applications and arranging interviews
*Interview along side recruiting Managers
*Manage all salaried staff inductions and on boarding alongside the recruiting manager
*Ensure all systems are up to date with any salary and employee changes
*Ensure intranet contacts are kept up to date
*Ensure Auto enrolment legislation is adhered to
*Arrange work experience programmes
*Manage and organise a variety of events including Christmas Party, Staff BBQ and Staff Meetings
*Make arrangements for donation requests
*Conduct salaried exit interviews
*Advise managers and employees on HR matters as appropriate
*Other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will:
1.Evidence of extensive experience working in a comparable role
2.Strong appreciation of our business needs and resourcefulness in coming up with solutions to their challenges
3.Part or full CIPD qualified
4.Well developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of employees
5.Good interpersonal skills and well-developed leadership and management skills
6.Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries
7.Proactive approach and prompt responses to all service requests
8.Ability to identify needs and issues and recommend suitable and pragmatic courses of action and solutions, adopting a risk-aware approach
9.Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle a number of tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required
10.Very good organisational skills
