This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large growing national company in a dynamic sales and marketing department.
This is a busy role involving a mixture of inbound and outbound sales, developing a detailed contact plan and strategy with the Sales Manager ensuring you are targeting the ideal prospective clients through proactively researching and building a strong pipeline of potential business opportunities for the Sales Team.
Other responsibilities include:
Identify the key decision-making individual at each of the targeted businesses in order to gain a face-to-face appointment for our Sales Team.
Book and manage diary appointments for the Sales Team with potential new clients.
Maintain a high level of pro-active telephone contact with prospective customers, to ensure a high level of continuity throughout the process.
Record a high level of detail on all potential opportunities and ensure all information is stored on our internal CRM system and kept up to date.
Build a strong working relationship with colleagues at all levels, in order to gain trust, respect and assistance from all parties.
Liaise with your sales colleagues daily to update them on all developments within the contact plan, building a close working bond.
Deal with incoming sales enquiries for Sales and Key Accounts.
Assist the Sales Team in achieving its overall goals and targets, creating quotes, proposals, cost comparisons and contractual agreements for incoming phone and Web enquiries.
Ensure all data is captured accurately and appropriately so that it may be used
to generate effective reports.
Assist when required, in providing reports for customers on a monthly/weekly basis, including recycling percentages when required.
Ensure all documents for the Sales Department are kept up-to-date and accurate, including housekeeping of Key Account files and the Key Account quote.
Support the Sales Department with ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Proven experience in an internal or external selling environment, preferably in a business
development/sales support role with proven administration experience.
Computer literate and with a good telephone manner.
