Marketing Assistant

The company
The organisation is a specialist retailer in high value fixtures and fittings. They have been operational for over 15 years and work with some of the best designers and finest materials to offer the best in design, innovation and quality.

Key areas of responsibility:
*Place and manage all brochure orders for both the end user, retailers and sales reps
*Work with the sales managers to handle all the brochure allocation across the brands
*Responsible for checking all press releases and ensuring prices are accurate
*Dealing with all incoming enquiries for the brands
*Granting access to the image bank.
*Managing all image requests for retailers and logos
*Assist in creating and printing of marketing literature such as; Brochures, Leaflets, Adverts, Point of Sale, and Emails New product technical sheets/presentations
*Checking home interest and press for mentions
*Dealing with all enquiries and supporting where can.
*Research and ordering of marketing promotional product such as pens, mugs
*Providing support for social media across all platforms
*Ensuring the marketing area is tidy and the magazines are kept up to date
*Helping to organise any event for the contracts department or in house
*Printing of POS and distribution to the sales reps
*Any ad hoc support which may be needed.

The individual:
*A qualification in a marketing related field would be preferred
*Excellent administrative and organisational skills
*Thrives in a fast moving and varied environment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Could be tested on grammar and spelling.
*Creative and proactive underpinned by an entrepreneurial spirit, commercial awareness, product knowledge and interest
*Proven record of meeting and achieving targets and deadlines
*Able to build excellent internal and external working relationships
*Good MS Excel and MS Word skills
