PR Senior Account Manager
This specialist PR and strategic communications B2B agency are now looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their close knit team. They’re currently in a period of expansion as a result of some recent big client wins and now is a fantastic time to join.

As a senior account manager you are responsible for driving an account by completing the execution of the strategies and activities, with support from the account directors. You will ensure that programmes and objectives are being adhered to, and that your accounts are well organised. You will oversee accounts, taking responsibility for managing, planning, execution, and results with the team. The role will involve developing strategies and activities for clients alongside senior directors, while overseeing the execution and quality control of all aspects of the clients’ programmes and relationships with the agency.
Client new business strategy and delivery:
*Accountable for the development of quarterly and forward-looking activity plans for clients.
*Accountable for the writing of all day-to-day written material for clients including press releases, features, statements, Q&As, speeches, presentations, award entries etc.
*Amending and improving press releases, internal copy for newsletters etc. drafted by account managers and account executives, and having final approval prior to sending to client
*Taking the lead role in meetings with existing clients, ensuring all preparation is well organised and senior directors are fully briefed on meeting contents
*Understanding all budgeting procedures and having complete financial control of client programmes
*Leading new business brainstorms providing creative input into all new business pitches within account group
Media Planning and Execution
*Planning and driving the media relations programme for all clients as laid out in the agreed programme of activity, reporting to your senior director as required
*Identifying and pursuing publicity opportunities to ensure the maximum level of coverage is achieved for your client, project etc.
*Overseeing the management and organisation of events ranging from workshops, photo calls, press conferences, and training days etc. on behalf of clients
*Alerting clients to PR risks or opportunities presented by broader areas of corporate responsibility
*Liaising with senior directors on strategic issues and media handling issues, including crisis management and advising client as appropriate
*Motivating and supervising your team
*Implementing and supervising progress of PR campaigns, including delivery against KPIs
*Recruiting the top talent and helping to ensure an effective and organised on-boarding process
