We are currently working with a leading fresh produce business based near Sittingbourne.
Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to work 25-30 hours per week across 5 days. Following probation, there is flexibility for this to become a hybrid role working both from home and in the office.
Responsibilities will include:
Code, post and file invoices
Raise purchase orders
In the absence of the Senior Accounts Assistant produce weekly payment run (supplier and expenses)
Manage any supplier account queries
Manage profitisation of all lots in ERP system to ensure accurate reporting
Open new supplier accounts
Assist with manual invoicing on an ad-hoc basis
Assist with sales ledger and job pricing cover on an ad-hoc basis
Educated to GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Experience working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised
Willingness to be flexible
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines
