A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join an excellent social care organisation that pride themselves on providing high quality, responsive and supportive services to service users in the and offer a high-quality service to all clients.
You will be required to manage the Community Nurses, Coordinators, Care Support Workers and Registered Nurses.
This is full time and will be Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm PLUS taking part in the on call rota (this is answering calls only and will not involve going out to cover care visits)
*Managing the day-to-day operations
*Ensuring all staff are employed and trained in accordance with relevant regulations
*Provide leadership to clients, relatives and staff by prioritising individual needs and reviews
*Manage the Community Assessors in providing effective and efficient high-quality nursing assessment of patients
*Supporting clinical input to clients, receiving Home Care packages, services within a home environment and residential placements
*Attend operations and review meetings
*Report to the Senior Management on a monthly basis on activity levels and outcomes for clients
*Prepare reports for CQC and attending inspections
*Produce management reports for the responsible individual as directed
*Conducting induction training and ensuring competencies of staff to undertake specialist tasks are appropriately verified and complaint investigation
*Responsible for a delegated budget, reconcile petty cash and ensure effective management of payroll
*Managing the expectations of the Care Packages
*Ensure Registered Nurses and Care Support Workers have adequate supplies of personal protective equipment
*Schedule care/clinical and support rosters to maximise the available resources in a cost-effective and time-effective manner and ensure care plans are met over 24 hours, seven days a week ensuring a safe and effective service delivery
*Ensure that the Client/Service Users understand the information given to them regarding the proposed service and the processes involved
Previous skills and experience required:
*Registered Manager with experience of managing a similar agency
*Proven leadership and managerial skills
*Familiar with relevant legal and other regulatory and Social Care requirements, in particular, the Health and Social Care 2008 & it’s associated essential standards
*Understanding and experience of rotas including adherence to the Working Time Directive legislation
*Strong computer skills and competency in basic MS Office applications
*Possess excellent communication and organisation skills
*Implement and manage change in the business
*Managing and resolving difficult situations and conflict management
*Working as a team as well as the ability to independently
*Ability to lead and motivate
