We are currently recruiting for a very well-established organisation on the outskirts of Maidstone that are seeking to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team.
The role will require you to be responsible for managing key supplier relationships, organising and managing stock levels and supporting all departments with stock and non-stock purchasing.
Duties will include:
*Setup and run strategic procurement strategies
*Manage over £1m of company spend
*Processing all purchasing requirements
*Managing and organising stock to increase efficiency
*Setting up and managing supplier accounts
*Liaising with internal departments to ensure large scale projects have material requirements met
Skills and experience:
*Experience in manufacturing
*Knowledge of engineering/fabrication
*Able to understand engineering drawings
*Experience of order processing & receipt
*Good interpersonal skills for dealing with suppliers
*IT Proficient (experience of Excel/Word etc.)
