Team Coordinator
Mon- Fri 37.5 hrs per week
Salary £24,745
Hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in the office in Deal twice a week.
The role also requires travel across East Kent

A leading charity based in Deal is looking for a Team Coordinator to join their team. As Team Coordinator your role is to provide Support to the charity’s Service Manager and also provide direct support to individuals trying to navigate through the health and social care systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

– To work on and manage projects that positively influence the service provided by the charity
– Allocate assessments to team members and quality assure assessments once completed
– Build a rapport with service users and communicate with preferred communication method IE phone, email, Skype or face-to-face sessions
– Assess candidates eligibility to access funded support
– Plan and schedule visits for charity team to meet with candidates
– Work with the Service Manager and fellow Team Coordinators to plan activities for the charity

Candidate Profile

– Experience of providing direct services to people with care needs and/or Carers
– Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive matters
– Experience of working to policies and procedures
– Experience of using Microsoft Office programmes and database or information systems
– Experience of providing information to enable individuals to make informed choices
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
– Ability to empathise and manage emotional and difficult situations
– Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
– Good administration/organisational skills and the ability coordinate and delegate actions across a
team
– Ability to support and motivate others to achieve deadlines
