Telesales / Outbound Sales (B2B)

Our client is a specialist retailer in high-value fixtures and fittings. They have been operational for nearly 20 years and work with some of the best designers and finest materials to offer the best in design, innovation and quality.

With a sales driven, professional and focused approach, they work together to create and sell sophisticated market leading products to their large network of prestigious hotels, architects and house builders, merchants and independent retailers.

They have a new role that is to focused on driving growth across their core market sectors. You will be responsible for the identification of leads and qualification of pipeline opportunities to be registered on their CRM. Working as part of an internal sales team you will be working closely with the external sales team and are jointly accountable for meeting and exceeding set sales growth targets.

Repeat business is very important to the company. Their sales executives will build excellent relationships with customers and deliver outstanding customer service at every opportunity. In addition to this, you will be responsible for proactively generate new business opportunities. New business generation is the key to their future success and growth.

*Working as part of an internal team focused on key growth sectors primarily but not exclusively Builders and Project Developers
*Working together with the external sales team to support sales and development growth plans.
*Delivering outstanding service to all customers.
*Demand creation and proactive NBD using a variety of tools and construction/building publications.
*Lead identification and qualification using an agreed set of sector specific criteria.
*Pipelining and project qualification achieved through day-to-day project management of assigned live opportunities.
*Managing a diary of outgoing project calls, plus incoming calls and emails from customers including End Users, Architects, Designers and Developers
*Building and maintaining accurate list of anticipated future orders and pro-actively managing the secured pipeline to provide accurate and credible budget forecasts.
*Making and maintaining accurate project notes and information
*Achieving team KPI and sales growth targets
*Making quality appointments for the sales team to attend
*Forecasting and lead time management. Obtaining building schedules, demand planning. Accountable for ensuring the right stock is available at point of need.

*Previous experience in a similar position desired
*Experience dealing with key players in the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
*Demonstrable track record in new business generation and conversion of internal sales is desirable.
*A flexible approach, willing to go the extra mile to ensure that customers receive excellent customer service and internal targets are achieved.
*Strong attention to detail is a must.
*Ability to multitask. Fast paced and enthusiastic.
*The ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
*The ability to find solutions to challenges using influence and collaboration
