1998 – Launched as Kings Hill Recruitment, the brainchild of two experienced recruitment consultants. The first KHR office at Kings Hill was no bigger than an interview room itself at 80 sq ft.
1999 – Recruited our first 2 members of staff.
2000 – Recruited 27 staff over 12 months for relocation of specialist Lloyds Underwriter.
2001 – Winners of the Age Positive “Recruitment Award of Excellence”
2005 – Kent Executive Search was established.
2006- Major projects include increasing call centre headcount by c.100 (sole agency) and 30 temporary staff for 3 month data management/cleansing project.
2009 – Relocated to current Leybourne location.
2010 – Recruited 24 new staff for French direct sales company’s first UK office.
2011 – Updated IT systems to state of the art cloud based recruitment software allowing remote access for “out of hours” working.
2012 – KHR Digital established
2014 – 12 recruitment consultants, combined 130 years experience in IT, Digital & CRM, Accounts and Finance, Management & Senior Appointments, Engineering & Construction, Legal and Insurance.
2015 – Specialist Consultants take the KHR experience into Technical, Manufacturing and Production, FMCG and Logistics
2016 – Local demand prompts the opening of our Tunbridge Wells office
2017 – Number of KHR Temporary and contract workers on assignments with our clients at highest levels ever
2018 – Local demand prompts the opening of our Linton office
KHR was founded on the basis of flexible working and this is still at its core. Over a quarter of the team across the three branches work in this way and find it successful.
