The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, experienced B2B Sales and Business Development / Account Manager looking for a fresh challenge or a desire to develop a career within a new sector.
Our team of experienced consultants work with clients in a variety of industries across all levels as generalists and specialists.
While the consultants concentrate on sourcing and interviewing for current recruitment needs, your role will be to support this team in managing their extensive client base through ensuring consistent account management and regular pre and post recruitment contact, maximising opportunities in all areas of a client’s recruitment needs, developing on existing relationships as well as new and lapsed business development through the follow up of on and offline marketing material and leads.
Our cloud-based candidate and client management systems provides our team with unrivalled access to numerous generalist and specialist CV search and job sites as well as an extensive in- house database developed over twenty years plus a vast LinkedIn network, enabling them to locate the best talent in an efficient manner, providing you with an excellent platform by which to market our services to new clients.
You will be required to maintain, amend and adjust the CRM system as well as relevant spreadsheets and documentation relating to BD and Marketing. Following up on mailers and eshots, recording responses and working with colleagues to ascertain success.
Assist with training and development of Consultants on CRM system, sales activity and tailored marketing for client bases.
This role requires an excellent telephone manner and great people skills together with a motivated and self-starting attitude. Your day will be made up a combination of telephone and field-based face to face sales. A team player with experience in building client relationships.
A good level of computer literacy is essential, high attention to detail, together with an excellent – level of written English, spelling and grammar.
As the Business Development / Account Manager you will be active in networking and promoting the company to new and existing clients, make frequent client visits, attend recruitment and B2B exhibitions and trade shows seeking new business. Your time will also be split working out of our 3 locations. You will be working closely with our Head of Sales and Marketing, our Recruitment Director and a Marketing Assistant.
Salary £25,000 neg. (OTE £35,000+)
5.6 weeks incl b/hols, rising by 1 day per year to 6.6 weeks pa
