– Maintaining general cleanliness of the warehouse
– Adhering to H&S regulations
– Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as advised by the Warehouse Manager

Candidate Profile

– Previous experience working in a similar fulfilment environment
– Prior experience using a digital device for order-picking
– Have an adequate understanding of the English language for the purposes of H&S
– Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse
– Own and wear a pair of safety boots

KHR is working with a reputable fulfilment centre based in Paddock Wood that is looking to hire a Forklift Driver (Bendi/Flexi/Pivot Steer) on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Forklift Driver (Bendi/Flexi/Pivot Steer) will work for approximately 12 full weeks before moving into a permanent role.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver (Bendi/Flexi/Pivot Steer) will include:

– Operating Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer FLT
– Heavy Lifting when required
– Handling inbound goods, outbound orders
– Maintaining accurate inventory and stock-level records
– Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed

Candidate Profile

– Must hold a valid external Pivot Steer or Reach Truck licence
– Prior experience working in a busy warehouse
– Have an adequate understanding of the English language for H&S
– Own and wear a pair of safety boots and a Hi-vis jacket

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Friday: 12pm – 10pm
Saturday: 8am – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 8pm

Operatives can be scheduled in 5 days across any of these shifts. Saturday & Sunday is treated as a normal day.

Warehouse Supervisor

I am currently working with a reputable fulfilment centre based in Paddock Wood which is looking to hire a dedicated and highly experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their team permanently.

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the goods-out team, overseeing inventory, order processing, distribution, and overseeing performance and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will oversee the warehouse facility’s daily operations by ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisorwill include, yet not be limited to;

* Set and monitor team KPIs to ensure targets are met
* Host daily meetings with the warehouse team to review priorities, address challenges, and set objectives for the day
* Provide training and development opportunities
* Act as the point of referral for crucial cases, such as inventory discrepancies or urgent orders
* Set up measures to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies
* Coordinate annual stock take and cycle counting procedures
* Follow proper slotting procedure to optimise warehouse layout and maximize efficiency
* Ensure compliance with H&S regulations
* Confirm order accuracy before shipping, ensuring high standards of quality control
* Investigate incidents and issue reports to management
* Foster a continuous improvement culture
* Monitor productivity and stock levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
* Utilise experience with 5S methodology to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment
* Ensure daily maintenance of warehouse equipment to reduce downtime

Candidate Profile

– Previous experience working in a similar fulfilment environment
– Demonstrate strong leadership skills in a previous supervisor role
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
– Familiarity with relevant software systems and tools for inventory tracking and management
– Health and safety certification preferred
– Lean Six Sigma certification or training would be advantageous
– Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

QC Analyst – Lab/FMCG

We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Paddock Wood.

Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a QC Analyst to join their established team.

The QC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing product quality and adherence to ISO accreditations and the internal Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities will include:

* Analysis of raw materials using the appropriate analytical technique or instrumental method (HPLC, GC-MS, UV/VIS)
* Display an understanding and ability to both use and maintain the laboratory analytical equipment (GC-MS, HPLC, Refractometer, Densitometer, and pH meter).
* Test raw materials and finished goods as part of the Goods In/Out product release process
* Investigate non-conforming samples and OOS, reporting results to the relevant department within the agreed time frame
* Document the receipt and results of analysis of samples submitted to the Quality Control laboratory
* Manage the release of finished products in compliance with company procedure
* Record and trend the results of analysis of incoming goods
* Undertake the routine calibration of instruments and perform daily laboratory checks
* Report faults or deficiencies in equipment or analytical practices to the laboratory manager
* Complete maintenance logs for the cleaning and basic servicing of laboratory equipment
* Ensure analytical laboratory equipment files are maintained and kept up to date
* Maintain individual training records for laboratory, regulatory compliance, and Health & Safety purposes
* Maintain and check stock levels of laboratory chemicals and consumables, identifying and reporting any procurement needs to the laboratory manager
* Ensure that the working area in the laboratory is maintained in a clean and orderly condition, reporting any hazard or potential hazard to the Health and Safety Manager.

Skills & Abilities:

* Enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a focus on providing the best possible service
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others both internally and externally
* High attention to detail in producing quality output and able to maintain this when under pressure
* Presentable, with excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions to ensure job requirements and underwriting matters are understood
* Strong IT skills
* A degree in a science-based discipline, preferably Chemistry. Candidates with significant relevant experience without a degree will also be considered
* Awareness of the latest relevant technology and research
* Understanding of GMP within a laboratory environment and awareness of food safety standards in compliance with FSSC22000 or BRC
