Key Responsibilities

– Manage and process all company payments accurately and in a timely manner
– Post journals and maintain accurate financial records
– Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns in compliance with UK regulations
– Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial tasks and monthly close processes
– Ensure all transactions are recorded efficiently within accounting software
– Contribute to reconciliations and assist with audits as required
– Continuously identify opportunities to streamline finance processes

Candidate Profile

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
– Highly proactive individual with the ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision
– Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for driving improvements and seeing tasks through to completion
– Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
– Excellent organisational and time management skills

Our client is a leading specialist in the supply, installation, and servicing of air conditioning/refrigeration systems and due to ongoing growth, they are looking for a Field-Based Chiller Engineer to join their team and cover the areas of Kent, London and the Home Counties.

As a Field-Based Chiller Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a wide range of HVAC systems for our client’s diverse customer base. This position is essential in upholding our client’s commitment to providing exceptional service and solutions to their valued clients.

Job Details:

– Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance, Callouts, and Repairs on various Refrigeration/Air Conditioning systems
– Diagnose and resolve faults accurately and efficiently
– Perform high-level technical tasks on Chillers, Refrigeration Systems, Close Control Systems, Splits, Multi-Splits, VRV/VRF, and more
– Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
– Effectively work with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Job Requirements:

– F-Gas certification
– Strong experience with chiller systems
– 3 years or more experience with refrigeration, air conditioning and heating (not essential) systems

As Head of Housing & Property Asset Management you will oversee the maintenance and management of the Association’s properties, including rented and leasehold independent living apartments, the care home, communal facilities, and offices.

Roles and Responsibilities include yet will not be limited to:

– Support the Senior Management Team, attend Board meetings, and manage budgets
– Lead and develop staff, ensuring training and compliance with regulations
– Foster collaboration and represent the Association professionally
– Oversee repairs, maintenance, and vacant property turnaround
– Manage contractors, procurement, and development projects
– Conduct property audits, track KPIs, and develop long-term asset plans

Candidate Profile

– Educated to degree level
– Housing Management Qualification (Level 4 and above)
– Experience in a similar asset management role
– Solid knowledge of the legislation relating to social housing and of legal, regulatory and operational issues relating to housing management services
– Understand Health & Safety legislation
– Able to implement and develop policies and procedures
– Excellent budget management and negotiation skills
– Effective project management experience
– Ability to use own initiative, solve problems and develop staff
