The primary role of the Recruitment Resourcer is to find and place suitable candidates into permanent, contract, and temporary assignments for their dedicated client base in the construction/ fit-out space.

Refrigeration Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a National Refrigeration/Air Conditioning business who have been established for over 30 years and boasts an annual turnover exceeding £10 Million, they currently employ approximately 140 members of staff including 100 engineers.

Due to business growth, they are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer who is capable of working on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning (80% refrigeration-focused) equipment including:
* Splits
* VRV’s
* Walk-in chillers/freezers
* Commercial refrigerators
* Cellar cooling
* Ice machines

Starting salary will be £38,000 basic per annum with regular overtime that will see you earn anywhere from £1,000-2,000+ per month extra. They do operate an on call rota which is one in every four weeks and one night a week. This role will cover either Luton, Northampton, Milton Keynes or St. Albans (depending on where you live).

The role:

– Attending customer sites (mostly pubs, restaurants, hospitality etc.) on a daily basis
– Interacting with customers

The person:

– F-Gas certified/NVQ 2/City & Guilds in Refrigeration
– Full driving licence
– Previous experience as a Field or Service Engineer within refrigeration/air conditioning is essential

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer to join their production department at a time of huge growth for the business.

As the Process Engineer, you will be required to participate in the ongoing process improvement program, monitoring the processes and assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving. You will also be required to lead specific projects and analyses as and when required by the wider team.

Duties include:
– To conduct and deliver regular reviews as to the current status of individual projects.
– To ensure resources are assigned to complete projects promptly.
– To assist in the deployment of Lean techniques throughout the site in all departments.
– To actively seek ways to maximise process efficiency.

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to join their growing team on a permanent contract.

As the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor, you will have a key focus on front-line maintenance and will be required to help coordinate the engineering departments’ daily and weekly prioritization, scheduling, and preparations of workload. This requires a strong focus on reliability and preventative maintenance to ensure problems are resolved the first time. The post holder will be responsible for all day-to-day electrical, instrumentation, and some control systems maintenance activities associated with the paper machine, Stock Prep plant, the winder, and its transport system.

Duties include:
– To take or initiate any corrective action necessary to ensure continuity of production.
– Working closely with the Production Superintendents, Shift Production Managers, and E&I and Mechanical colleagues as the E&I engineering lead contact for day-to-day and immediate machine problems.
– Taking evaluation of morning production meeting problems to the engineering team so that they plan and coordinate the resolution.
– All equipment contained within the PM9 machine house except for those under a specialist service contract, although there may be times when they will need support, direction, or some involvement from the Engineering team.
– Take responsibility for the Electrical & Instrumentation area of the engineering workshops, including the test room, PAT testing, workbenches, and the general condition of the working area in line with 5S principles.
– Use SAP MM for BOM and spare part information.

What we are looking for:
– A Competent Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, or
working towards an Electrical Degree or equivalent.
– Previous experience in an E & I Technician position.
– NEBOSH safety certificate

Data Entry

We are currently working with a market-leading UK manufacturer of specialist products.

Due to ongoing success, they are currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join their team based in Sittingbourne on a temporary to permanent basis.

Working directly with the Chemistry Team Leader, the Data Entry Clerk will be expected to assist in the operation of the research centre with a particular focus on sample testing services.

Responsibilities will include:

Unpacking and sorting of daily samples for analysis
Data entry of sample information
Preparation of samples to be analysed by laboratory technicians on larger instrumentation
Disposal of old samples

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills
A methodical approach with accuracy, high attention to detail, and minimal errors
Previous experience with data entry
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to keep working areas neat/tidy
An interest or academic background in Chemistry or a lab environment would be an advantage but isn’t essential
Physically fit as there will be some lifting involved

Full training will be given. Hours will be Tuesday to Saturday 5am-1.30pm.

Quality/Goods Inspector

This 1-month temporary role requires you to perform inspections in-process and finished components, sub-assemblies, and the final product. You will inspect goods entering the factory and made within the company to ensure that standards of quality and safety are met.

Main Duties:

– To carry out inspections, diagnose the cause of any non-conformance, and determine the category of non-conformance, updating internal systems as required and bringing issues and queries to the attention of the Lead Inspector.
– To check and inspect materials and products to ensure they are as per drawing and purchase order requirements.
– Assist production and engineering in investigations of process-related quality issues.
– To investigate all factory returns and produce any non-conformance notes as appropriate.
– To be responsible for the security and maintenance of all equipment used in goods inward inspection.
– Support with all processes and procedures relating to the Company’s ISO registration.

Job Requirements:

– 3 years experience in technical achievement in a manufacturing environment.
– Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001
– Experience in inspection on electrical and mechanical equipment
– Capable of understanding documentation
– Experienced with the use of inspection measuring tools
