KHR is currently working with a reputable gastropub based in Sevenoaks and is currently on the hunt for a Restaurant Manager. This is an important role within the team, which will see you be the face of the establishment and the leader of the team, ensuring customers have a great experience!

This is a varied role and will require someone flexible to run the Front of House and Bar.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
– Lead and motivate a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff
– Train and develop staff members, providing guidance and feedback as needed
– Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and excellent customer service
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
– Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
– Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

-Previous experience in restaurant management

Design Engineer

Are you a skilled Building Services Design Engineer looking for a new challenge?

If you have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, a passion for HVAC and energy-efficient systems, and are ready for your next challenge, this role could be perfect for you.

Working for this reputable building services practice based in West Kent, you would be travelling throughout Kent visiting clients and would be required to attend the office in Sevenoaks at times.

As the Building Services Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing mechanical systems for a variety of projects.

Your role will involve everything from conducting site surveys to collaborating with clients and design teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Your duties would include but not be limited to:

– Collaborate with clients and design teams to establish mechanical requirements
– Conduct site surveys to assess project needs and assist in pricing installation works
– Research and apply the latest engineering methods and technologies
– Document design processes and prepare technical reports
– Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
– Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers for project coherence
– Stay updated on industry advancements and design trends
– Present design proposals to clients and external teams

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
– Minimum of 5 year’s experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
– Strong knowledge of design principles and best practices
– Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD
– Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
– Chartered Engineer status.
– Experience in designing HVAC, Air Source/Ground Source Heat Pumps, and related systems

This role would suit someone with a variety of skills who can execute numerous duties covering all office support functions. With no two days the same this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment.

Responsibilities of the Sales Office Administrator will include:

– Wrapping and sending requested samples and other parcels to customers in a timely manner, including liaising with couriers to arrange collections and deliveries
– Weekly scanning, photocopying and filing of documents
– Processing supplier invoices
– Sorting and distributing mail
– Order processing
– Managing customer accounts
– Assisting with credit control
– Monitor the level of supplies, and stationery and handle shortages, including refreshments
– Perform receptionist duties when needed
– Maintaining office equipment
– Booking and arranging meeting rooms
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
– Providing cover for the sales administration department when required

Candidate Profile

– Some experience working in an office support/clerical role
– Experience processing orders/ sales administration
– Accounting knowledge of invoicing and credit control
– The ability to use your initiative and work autonomously when required
– Demonstrate strong communication skills
