This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the food manufacturing industry who has hands-on practical experience and a keen eye for detail.

Position Overview

As the QA Operative, you will be responsible for conducting thorough quality inspection checks on products, ensuring they meet the required specifications. You will work closely with the Production team to resolve any quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive a strong food safety and quality culture within the organisation.

Responsibilities

– Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
– Report and quarantine non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
– Support continuous improvement, right-first-time performance, and waste reduction.
– Calibrate equipment and maintain up-to-date calibration records.
– Swab and release equipment post-cleaning for production use.

– Log and investigate foreign body rejections.

– Previous experience in QA, preferably in Food Manufacturing (desirable)

Our client, a reputable fulfilment centre based in Paddock Wood, is seeking multiple Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic goods-in team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in a similar fulfilment environment to contribute to the success of a growing company.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse fulfilment operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching orders while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.

Shift Pattern

You will be scheduled to work 5 shifts per week. Shifts are subject to change and will be based on the department in which you are working.

– Monday to Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
– Saturday: 8 am – 6 pm
– Sunday: 10 am – 8 pm

Responsibilities

– Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for dispatch
– Pack orders from small single items to large complex multi-item orders
– Utilise digital devices to process orders and manage inventory
– Receive, check, and book in incoming stock, organising and putting away goods

Requirements

Position Overview

As the Procurement & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s 3PL and internal warehouse operations, coordinating inbound and outbound transport, and managing inventory levels. Your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers, contributing to the overall success of this trusted manufacturer.

Responsibilities

– Manage 3PL and internal warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes
– Coordinate inbound and outbound transport, including drop shipments and customs clearance

HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client, a well-established family business specialising in food production, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team based out of Rochester.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of our client’s high-quality produce. You will be responsible for driving safely and efficiently, adhering to all transport legislation, and providing exceptional service to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities
– Ensure all aspects of safety and customer site rules are adhered to, along with transport legislation, including driver’s hours and vehicle defect reporting
– Take responsibility for the security of products carried whilst in transit, which may include long-distance journeys and occasional nights away from home
– Drive safely and economically in line with UK driving laws and legislation
– Carry out various trailer work, including chilled refrigerators, curtain siders, low loaders, and containers
– Ensure all delivery and collection notes and paperwork are correct, and provide accurate paperwork for debriefing allocated jobs
– Provide an exceptional standard of service to customers and colleagues
– Operate a forklift or pump truck as required to load and/or unload vehicles
– Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles and wear the required PPE

Requirements
– HGV Class 1 license and current Tacho Card (essential)
– PSV license (advantageous) or willingness to undertake company-funded training
– Proven working experience operating HGV Class 1 Vehicles
– Understanding of and adherence to health and safety protocols and food hygiene standards
– Ability to interpret and follow written and spoken instructions
– Comfortable with a physical role involving frequent manual handling
– Can-do attitude with the ability to use own initiative
– Commitment to a flexible and often unsociable working pattern and hours
