The purpose of the Administrator will be to provide support to different groups in the business, therefore you must be highly organised and able to handle different projects at once in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

– Liaison with clients/drafting of proposals
– Organise events such as social functions
– Provide support to Senior Team including diary management and travel arrangements
– Updating of contact information
– Book training courses and conferences for staff
– Manage all stock and supplies
– Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
– Manage all outgoing/incoming mail

Candidate Profile:

– Experience in a previous Administrative role
– Previous experience working with legal documentation
– Evidence of working under pressure effectively
– Success within a multi-service, client-driven business
– Computer literate
– Strong verbal and written communication
– Able to work in a team as well as unsupervised

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm (office based)

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operative – Finishing Assistant

My client, who is of the largest print and packaging companies in the UK, is looking for a finishing Assistant to join their team. This would suit someone with a strong warehouse background that are keen to get into the print industry.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working within a warehouse/manufacturing environment, preferably one which involved packaging or similar, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided. Applicant must be willing to work on a rotational shift pattern which includes nights.

Main Responsibilities:

* Stripping and Strapping of Pallets
* Flat-packing
* Machine Feeding, Box Making and Packing
* Overlooking
* Palletisation of Outers
* Obtaining components necessary for the production of required work
* Undertake all necessary admin including using relevant IT and paper based systems
* General housekeeping including tidying up of the department
* Any other duties as instructed by the machine operators

Skills and Attributes:

* Being able to work well within a team and as an individual.
* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training

Due to ongoing growth and success, they are currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join their friendly team working on a night shift.

The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for supporting a busy warehouse function with systems and general administration duties.

Responsibilities will include:

Generate Serial Shipping Container Codes for all loads
Process purchase orders
Receive deliveries and returns and reconcile delivery notes with purchase orders
Generate load builder
Generate delivery notes and manifests
Update customer’s inventory management systems
Support and assist internal teams with queries and resolution
Greet inbound and outbound drivers
Update sales orders
Liaise with the Sales team and Production

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communication skills
Good IT skills – knowledge of Prophet is preferable
Good understanding of maths
Previous warehouse experience is preferable
Good understanding of Word and Excel

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their rapidly growing team based in Maidstone.

Reporting to the Head of Retail and Logistics, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing a small team of warehouse operatives and ensuring smooth, safe and efficient running of all day-to-day warehouse operations.

You will be responsible for completing a wide range of duties, including but not limited to responsibility for picking, packing and dispatching all goods, maintaining the highest levels of stock integrity inclusive of food ingredients, ensuring the highest standard of health and safety within the warehouse, maintain continuous contact with production to ensure warehouse team is aware of any changes in upcoming orders and deputising for the Head of Retail and Logistics when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
– Have a high level of computer literacy, with previous experience of using complex inventory systems
– Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Possess a valid forklift vehicle certificate – counterbalance certificate and REACH truck certificate is essential to this role and have a firm understanding of weight distribution principles on racking storage
– Must have a background in food manufacturing and the storage and stock rotation of food ingredients
– Excellent team player, with proven ability to build positive working relationships across all levels
– It is essential that the successful candidate is able to maintain the highest level of trust and confidentiality
– Have excellent time management and organisational skills, being able to prioritise effectively

Your role will include:
– Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations taking full accountability and responsibility to provide a first-class service. This will include but is not limited to responsibility for goods in and manufactured goods; providing support to production; picking and packing orders; managing stock takes and product rotation; responsibility for shipping and exports; waste disposal; health and safety of the team and all visitors to the warehouse; building security and contractors.
– Manage and lead on first-in, first-out FIFO stock rotation for all goods and raw materials inclusive of food ingredients.
– Responsible for keeping warehouse compliant with our food-related standards providing daily checks and reporting on storage temperature checks, daily pest control records and weighing food ingredients as a part of the goods in process.
– Effective management of the warehouse team including conducting regular 1:1 meetings, managing their performance and providing motivation, support and training to ensure productivity targets are met and a high level of efficiency is achieved.
