Job Description:

My client is ideally looking for someone hands-on and good with using tools.
The ideal candidate would be capable of heavy lifting and loading and be able to ensure the smooth transition of supplies. They are looking for someone upbeat, on the ball, and not shy of hard work. This is the type of industry where repeat custom is common, so the ideal candidate will appreciate the high level of customer service needed to retain business.

Job Requirements:
– Experience with using tools and hands-on
– Be physically fit and able
– Own steel-toe cap boots
– Previous experience in a Yard/Warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
– Knowledge of roofing supplies is preferred but not essential
– Strong work ethic

Position Overview

The Trust Catering Manager will play a crucial role in delivering an effective and cost-efficient catering facility for the educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the catering provision at a local Primary School, ensuring that students and staff receive modern, healthy, and high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

Deliver an effective and cost-efficient catering facility, including menu planning, budgetary control, and stock management

Lead, manage, and deploy a team of catering staff

Develop termly menus that cater to all dietary requirements

Coordinate in and out of school catering events

Oversee food preparation and service

Manage the whole school catering budget

Maintain accurate stock records and monitor invoices

Ensure equipment maintenance and adhere to all health and safety procedures

Undertake risk assessments and report incidents

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and appearance among catering personnel

Requirements

Adherence to all DfE regulations, health and hygiene regulations, COSHH regulations, and nutritional legislation

Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate stock records

Experience in leading and managing a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The contract will run from September to December 2025 with working hours of 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday.

Position Overview
As the Technical Specification Manager, you will be the senior point of contact for all technical enquiries, providing expert support to various internal teams and customers. Your core focus will be to fill the project pipeline with specifications for pending projects, adding value to architects and specifiers, and supporting applicators with tailored specification clauses. You will also directly manage the Technical Sales Executive, offering guidance and mentorship.

Responsibilities

– Educate stakeholders about the benefits and features of EWI and render, demonstrating compliance with building codes and standards
– Work closely with architects and specifiers to ensure product specification, providing technical support and solutions
– Monitor industry trends, competitors’ activities, and regulatory changes

Requirements
– Proven experience in a similar technical specification role within the building materials industry
– Strong technical knowledge of external wall insulation, façade renders and paints, internal plasters, and healthy living solutions
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
– Proficiency in drafting technical specifications and creating detailed drawings
– Experience in delivering CPDs and presentations to architects and applicators
– Ability to manage and mentor junior team members
– Keen eye for industry trends and regulatory changes
