Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm

We are working with a leading distribution company who are actively looking for a Customer Service Administrator to start immediately. If you are a well-organised and self-motivated individual, with experience within a customer service or administration environment then this may be the role for you!

The customer service team acts as the first point of contact for customers via the telephone, email and trade counter. You will be processing orders on the internal system and liaising with all departments across the life cycle of an order. You will also manage queries and support the activities of the sales and buying teams.

Your Duties:
– Responding to customer enquiries, developing your knowledge of packaging materials
– Ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date (Contact details, customer queries, complaint management)
– Serving customers face to face (inc. handling cash)
– General administration duties
– Liaising with Purchasing, Operations and Sales colleagues with regard to customer requirements

– Customer Service experience both via telephone and face-to-face
– Computer literate and an ability to learn new systems quickly

Refrigeration Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a National Refrigeration/Air Conditioning business who have been established for over 30 years and boasts an annual turnover exceeding £10 Million, they currently employ approximately 140 members of staff including 100 engineers.

Due to business growth, they are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer who is capable of working on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning (80% refrigeration-focused) equipment including:
* Splits
* VRV’s
* Walk-in chillers/freezers
* Commercial refrigerators
* Cellar cooling
* Ice machines

The role:

– Attending customer sites (mostly pubs, restaurants, hospitality etc.) daily
– Interacting with customers

The person:

– F-Gas certified/NVQ 2/City & Guilds in Refrigeration
– Full driving licence
– Previous experience as a Field or Service Engineer in refrigeration/air conditioning is essential

KHR is working with a leading manufacturer on the outskirts of Maidstone who is looking for a Paint Preparation Operative to join their team! If you or someone you know are an experienced Paint Prepper with excellent attention to detail, then this is the role for you

Duties include:
– To prepare fabricated parts for wet painting including drilling, fettling, filling,
sanding shot blasting, sealing, washing, cleaning degreasing, and masking of
components.
– Using power tools for drilling, grinding, and sanding component surfaces in line with the company’s processes
– Masking of threads and bores to protect from shot blast damage and paint ingress
– Handling these components through the blast equipment and washing equipment to achieve a good surface finish and high cleanliness level ready to accept the paint.
– Hanging components in an efficient manner for priming, painting, and baking
– Unloading components and packing for delivery to production areas and stores ensuring the paint finish is not damaged
– Day-to-day monitoring of the blast profiles
– Daily cleaning of prep lines and prep bays
– To take personal responsibility for the PPE issued and ensure it is kept in good condition at all times
– To clean and carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks on the shot blast
– Daily and weekly 5s and housekeeping duties
– To comply at all times with the company H&S policy and to ensure that all work is carried out in line with the relevant Risk Assessments
– To adhere to the Company’s environmental policies and legal duties, specifically control of emissions, management of solvents, and the disposal and recycling of
waste products

KHR are working with a reputable fulfilment centre based in Paddock Wood who are looking to hire multiple Warehouse Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.

Operatives will work for approximately 12 full weeks before moving into a permanent role.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operatives

– Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
– Using digital devices to process orders
– Managing incoming inventory, accepting, checking & booking in stock
– Organising and putting away incoming goods
– Replenishing stores when required
– Maintaining general cleanliness of the warehouse
– Adhering to H&S regulations
– Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as advised by the Warehouse Manager

Candidate Profile

– Previous experience working in a similar fulfilment environment
– Prior experience using a digital device for order-picking
– Have an adequate understanding of the English language for the purposes of H&S
– Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse
– Own and wear a pair of safety boots

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Friday: 12pm – 10pm
Saturday: 8am – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 8pm

15 / 30 / 15 minute or 60-minute break.

Operatives can be scheduled in 5 days across any of these shifts. Saturday & Sunday is treated as a normal day.

My client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their company. This will be a temp to perm position.

You will be required to carry out the following tasks.

– Carry out in-process inspection activity as defined by the works traveller and/or W.I.S
(crimping; soldering; torque tightening; first off Inspection etc.)
– Carry out tooling checks of crimp tools and settings in the absence of a Team Leader
– Carry out a final inspection of manufactured product to drawing, customer specification, and/or internal procedures, including dimensional & documentation checks.
– Carry out electrical testing of manufactured product to drawing, customer specification, and/or internal procedures, using ATE, multimeter, megger, or other test equipment as
required.
– Complete Final Inspection & Test Record sheet
– Complete Test Results sheets as required
– First Article Inspection.
– Carry out First Article Inspection.
– Complete First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).
– Carry out Goods Receiving inspection of the supplied product.
– Book work through on ERP system
– Record results of in-process and final inspections on the relevant statistical
spreadsheets
– Control of Calibration of Inspection and Test Equipment/test equipment verification.
– Ensuring adequate test leads/mating halves are available and controlled.
– Programming of Automatic Test Equipment
– Procurement of all necessary hardware in support of Test and Inspection equipment.
– Assist in disseminating technical details in support of contract review.
– Any other tasks as instructed by a Director or Senior Manager.

* IPC 620 certified/trained would be desirable although full training will be provided.
* Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
* Have basic knowledge of equipment, tools, and measuring instruments associated with the
manufacturing of electrical wiring and cable assembly.
* Ability to work on intricate and small assemblies.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
