Our client, a leading manufacturer specialising in innovative systems, is seeking an experienced HR Administrator covering payroll processing using BrightPay and ad hoc accounts administration. This part-time role is based in Aylesford, Kent.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s HR Administration. Your primary responsibilities will include processing payroll using BrightPay, maintaining employee records, and supporting various HR
functions such as recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. You will also assist with accounts administration tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Administer payroll processing using BrightPay, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant processes

* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate

* Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees

* Support HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, and employee relations

* Manage accounts administration tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliation

* Generate HR and payroll reports as needed to support management decision-making

* Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits

* Assist in maintaining a positive workplace culture and promoting employee engagement

REQUIREMENTS

* Previous experience in an HR administrative role, with a focus on payroll processing (preferably)

* Knowledge of HR admin best practices and payroll regulations

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and payroll/accounting software

* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach

Position Overview
As an Assembly Fitter, you will play a crucial role in building and producing quality products. You will be responsible for fitting and assembling fabricated parts, setting up hydraulic and electrical systems, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of finished products. Responsibilities
– Fit and assemble fabricated parts using lean, efficient, and safe methods

– Set up hydraulic and electrical systems, installing pipes, valves, pumps, and motors

– Perform fault diagnosis and dismantle faulty assemblies

– Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts using air tools or socket sets

Assembly Fitter duties include:
– To fit and assemble fabricated parts or subassemblies
– To be able to set up hydraulic & electrical systems including pressure testing
– To install hydraulic & pneumatic pipes and lines
– To install valves, pumps, and motors
– To complete electrical tasks such as laying, connecting, and securing wiring looms
– To complete fault diagnosis and ensure basic checks are complete on all electronic installs
– To be able to dismantle faulty assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
– To be able to use and adapt to air tools or socket sets
– To be able to lift and set large and awkward components
– To provide support with design/development tasks through the use of Engineer change notes/BOM variance

We are currently working with a leading Kent-based construction company that operates across the South East.

Due to substantial growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Buyer to join their team on a full-time, permanently.

The Buyer will assist with purchasing for the organisation including processing orders and supply chain management. You will support the Procurement Manager in negotiating the best terms, ensure suppliers have been approved by the company, maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, monitor spend against job budgets, liaise with project managers regarding materials, quantities, and delivery dates, assist with receipt of deliveries and stock control and build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have previous procurement or buying experience ideally within the construction industry (but this is not essential). You will be confident using Outlook and speaking on the phone to suppliers and customers. You will need to be physically fit to bring in deliveries and move stock in the yard where needed. Attention to detail and basic maths is essential.

The Junior Buyer will work within the Procurement team and assist them with their day-to-day tasks including:

Create and manage purchase, hire, and sub-contract orders
Liaise with Project Managers regarding items purchased and delivery dates

Working closely with all operational departments, the Works Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations, scheduling of works and service-related activities for the engineering team, and acting as a support function to operations management and supervisors.
